"The hotel was pleasant and clean and front office staff were polite and accomodating. However, there were a number of issues which took a long time to resolve, even with an Indonesian interpreter - which was frustrating. The lifts were slow, and there was no option to take stairs. The towels were worn and unnecessarily changed along with the bathroom toiletries (plastic hair caps etc) which was wasteful. The fridge wasn’t actually cold enough to keep any cold water or milk in. "I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The hotel is very old and run-down. The noise from the air conditioning units on each floor was very loud and annoying. The air conditioners inside the rooms were also noisy and had poor cooling. The sanitary facilities and bathrooms were very outdated and most of their tools were broken. The hotel needs urgent renovation. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was decent."

"Great family stay at Kristal Hotel! We really enjoyed our time at Kristal Hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful from the start, and the place felt clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious enough for the whole family, and the beds were really comfy. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options, and the kids loved it. The location was also great — close to shops and restaurants but still nice and quiet at night. Everything was easy and stress-free, which made our trip even better. We’d definitely stay here again next time we visit. Highly recommend for families!"
