Great accommodation near Granada

Great property on the outskirts of Granada, with pool. We also appreciated the fire as the evenings were chilly. There is a small “shop” on site selling lovely jams and other local produce.

Lovely unique stay.

This is a really nice country farmhouse with a beautiful courtyard, pool and fruit trees all around. One of the best things was a well stocked store of local goods such that we often didn’t need to stop for groceries or go to a restaurant. The owner is available and thoughtful. We would stay here again for sure.

Very comfortable farm house

The house is outside Granada, but very close to Granada and easy to get to. Radiant floor heating keeps the whole place warm. The host was always available and accommodating. She is a lovely person.

Amazing rural residence

This was a highlight of our Spain visit. Located just outside Granada this converted 150 year old farmhouse was full of charm. Our room key was an original 9” iron key to the large wooden door. If you’re looking for an alternative to the busy city hotel scene this is your place.

Superb

Truly excellent place to stay. The house and grounds are utterly charming. The pool is unchlorinated, which is great in my book. It has the feel of a working orchard/farm. Concha and her family could not have been more helpful. Wonderful setting. Only 15/20 minute drive to central Granada. Perfect family holiday.

A very nice stay close to Grenada

We had 5 very nice days in October with all kinds of weather - swimming in the warm sunshine in the pool, and very cold wind with lots of rain. The house was nice and comfortable. A small warning: The sign at at the end the small road to the farmhouse says no entry. Don´t let it keep you away from at very good experience.

Far from the madding crowd!

This beautiful old fruit farm is ideally located on the edge of the village of Churriana de la Vega, just a couple of miles from the bustling centre of Granada. The village offers bars, restaurants and supermarkets on your doorstep, while a 20 minute cycle ride on a well maintained, traffic- free cycle track will take you to all of Granada's top sights. We borrowed the casa's bicycles every morning and cycled in the warm sunshine to the Albaicin, Sacromonte, the Cathedral, Arab baths and much more. The city is very cycle-friendly and we were able to abandon our car for the week, apart from the afternoon we drove to the beautiful village of Montefrio in the Sierra Nevadas. When back in our apartment in the casa, it was easy to forget that we were so close to Granada. The casa is surrounded by fruit and olive trees and Concha, our host provided us with a a basket of fresh fruit on our arrival. This location really is arcadian, a bucolic oasis in an otherwise busy urban area. At the rear of the casa is a large, clean swimming pool with ample sunbeds, parasols, tables and chairs for all of the residents (4 couples at most). We spent most of our afternoons swimming, sunbathing and reading by the pool. Our ground floor apartment was perfect for the two of us, with an open plan living/dining room, an adjacent well-equipped kitchen, a pretty family bathroom with good shower, and two spacious bedrooms with generous storage. The apartment was comfortably and attractively furnished in keeping with this period property which is full of quirks and character. Finally, our thanks to Concha who was a most attentive, helpful and friendly host, yet without being intrusive. We loved our week in this property and are happy to recommend it unreservedly.

This property is amazing! Relaxing by the pool after a busy day touring in Granada was perfect. The property is wonderfully rustic, the rooms are clean and have everything you need. This was our favorite stay in Spain.

Great apartment and location!

The apartment was lovely, located in an old farm structure. The location was nice and quiet and away from the busy-ness of Granada. Sadly, it was too chilly to enjoy the inviting pool but we did enjoy a using the fireplace one evening. Concha was available to answer our questions and give advice on navigating the streets of the city. Wonderful stay!

Wirklich sehr schönes Anwesen, absolut ruhig und trotzdem nah an der Stadt. Unser Apartment war sauber und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Poolbereich ist gepflegt und es gibt genug Platz für alle. Wir können eine Wanderung in den Sierra Nevada empfehlen, die von Monachil aus ging- das war das highlight unserer Andalusien Tour. Vielen Dank an Concha für den schönen Urlaub. Jan und Claudia

Great secluded location

Lovely, secluded villa just 1.5 miles outside of Granada. There's a great bike / walking path we used to get into the city (or it's a 10 minute drive) and it was lovely to head out of the city frenzy to the quiet farm / pool in the heat of the afternoons. We also loved the small shop carrying local farm goods available on site. We were able to grab some Cava, olive oil and other necessities when we forgot to pick them up. Loved it.

Einfach wundervoll

Wir, 2 Kinder ( 11,6) und zwei Erwachsene hatten eine traumhafte Woche. Das Appartement war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Pool ist ebenfalls sauber. Die Hausherrin, Concha ,ist super herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir durften Aprikosen von den Bäumen pflücken und konnten uns jeder Zeit im Hofladen mit regionalen Produkten versorgen. Der Hof ist sehr nah an Granada, allerdings braucht man ein Auto. Wenn man die Alhambra besuchen möchte sollte man Tckets im Vorraus buchen. Alles in allem ein perfekter Urlaub, wir haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt!

Historic Farm House near the center of Granada

We throughly enjoyed our 5 night stay with Concha and her family at their family estate. Guest flats are on the ground floor on the very large house. Our room was quite, warm and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, markets close by. We had a number of our meals there. This is a working farm, roads are not paved but well maintained. Highly recommended if you long for a pastoral experience.

Eine wunderbare Finca

- alte Finca im Familienbesitz, liebevoll instandgehalten - schöne Ferienwohnungen mit gepflegten Außenbereichen - großer Pool - sehr ruhig inmitten von Feldern und Obstwiesen, nicht weit von Stadtzetrum (Auto/Fahrrad) - noch bewirtschaftet, im Laden kann man Produkte aus eigener Herstellung kaufen (Joghurt, Obst, Saft, Eingelegtes, Wein, Cava...) - sehr freundliche Gastegeber
