"Excellent family property in a stunning location. We had a great time and would come again. Just a shame the pool and garden had not been properly maintained prior to our arrival, (uncut grass and pool had a green algae colour throughout; I assume we were one of the first guests of the season), which is the reason for 4 instead of 5*. Otherwise it was perfect. "

"This is a hidden gem. Hotel out of the sixties. Amazing position on the beach … dream sea food restaurants all around and we had a room with a glorious sea view. Just loved it …. Understand it’s a bit of Greece that only the Greeks go to. "

The place has a charming atmosphere with lush greenery, soft grass, and a real sense of privacy thanks to the separate cottages. There’s instead a lovely swimming pool area surrounded by nature, where you can fully relax and unwind. A perfect spot for a calm and pleasant getaway. "The property is beautiful. Private yard and pool. Super well-maintained. Amazing view from living area upstairs. Think ahead for food; we arrived on a Sunday in mid-May and all the markets and most of the restaurants were closed. No dining facilities on site and don’t plan on “walking into town”, as it’s about 1.5 km away and it’s a steep uphill on the way back. Communication had challenges. On the eve of my departure for Greece, I received an email with check-in instructions all in Greek requiring you to send a pre-arrival form, all in Greek, when options to do this all by phone might be limited. Due to network problem in the area, could not reach property by phone. Finally, we established contact on FB messenger and the property manager was able to call me back. When she did, she was wonderfully helpful and polite. Overall pleased, property is lovely once you get there, but do realize it’s in the middle of nowhere with a steep walk to and from the beach and town, and communications can be challenging. "

"We stayed at the newly built condo. Rooms were clean and spacious with great views. The pool and restaurant were good too. The gardens, the playground and the areas were the animals live could use better maintenance i.e. there were some nails sticking out from some pieces of wood, the protective floor at the playground was torn out etc. Overall it would have been a great experience if we had not faced a very disturbing issue with the restaurant: our son is celiac and we had chosen this hotel as it provides gluten free options (we had actually stayed there in the past and had no issues). However, this time our son was glutened as they provided us with wheat bread during breakfast assuring us it was gluten free. Luckily our son is asymptomatic but this is a very serious mistake - cannot even imagine what would have happened if our son was allergic and the restaurant poorly catered his needs. I spoke to the managers only after I asked for it and they said it was a one time human error however there was no action taken afterwards to rectify the situation other than a simple apology. Not sure I can recommend this property given all the above along with the fact that I think it is overly priced for its offerings."
