"Athina and Yiannis were great hosts of this gorgeous property. It is just minutes to walk to the beach, restaurants, grocery store, and lots of local shops. The property is so clean. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom is compact but perfectly fine, great shower and hot water any time of day. Balcony was nice but there are also a lot of seating areas around the property. There is dedicated parking next to the property which is a bonus! We will absolutely stay here again, next time we are in Lefkada!"

"Lovely apartment within an easy driveable distance of the town. Everything we could need and great views. Check in and communication was tricky but Arturo was very friendly and even paid for our drinks whilst we were in a restaurant without our knowing. A very pleasant stay."

"Have just had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff are fantastic, a particular call outs for Athena on reception, who politely helped us with so many queries and always had a smile. Also Dimitri on the restaurant/bar, was so hardworking and pleasant. The staff are all very friendly and hard working. The food menu was limited, but adequate for a light lunch, the Lefkas lentil salad was amazing. As a general comment some external parts of the hotel might need to be looked at as bits are tired and the pool water could be clearer. It was quiet for our week until the end when a larger party arrived and then there was a struggle to get a sun bed/umbrella. Also the beach isnt that accessible and is small, however there are so many amazing beaches youll be spoilt for choice (beach shoes are a must). Finally if you have mobility issues this might be a challenge as there are lots of steps. The hotel is well located between Nikiana and Nidri, with lots of options to eat, shop and go on sightseeing trips. We hired a car and this was helpful as the bus is intermittent. A lovely, quiet, small hotel with friendly staff for a peaceful holiday. Enjoy"

"Whatever it is that you have been choking on, Mandragoras will have you breathing again! This concept hotel has so much soul that even the pictures you are staring at now – dumbfounded, hardly believing your luck – are going to fade the minute you set your foot in it. The best holiday ever, and a lot of it had to do with how we have been treated, the fabulous advice we have been given, the cordial talks we have had after long days of exploring. We were welcomed like family and when the time came to leave we parted like best friends. Subtle yet simple, this is an unlikely place for the posh crowd, rather this is the place for unassuming travelers, who take genuine interest in everything local. It is the place for those who value true down-to-earth luxury with no hint of opulence and appreciate how remarkably affordable it can be. And we loved the architecture! Rarely you find such respect for the environment, such consideration for guests' privacy, such clever landscaping and functional layout that will keep you marveling day-in day-out, is this genius or what? The location is convenient and quiet, off the busy road but very close to main routes, a short walk to Nydri town and KTEL bus stop. The views in Lefkada are truly exquisite, you are so spoilt for choice that even your postcard view from the terrace will seemingly become all too ordinary over the course of your stay. "Wonderful view from villa with very nice pool and well appointed and comfortable property.We had a very hot week so spent a lot of time in pool or seeking shade on beaches.The local cat was very cute and friendly and needs looking after.Loads of restaurants and tavernas within ten minute drive.Have to drive everywhere as near coastal road but roads not busy and sivota,Demi and Nydri are within ten minutes drive. Island hopping boat tours from nydri a must but I would avoid the big boats as too busy. Island is surprisingly green and beautiful, beaches are busy."
