Great Location

The staff at hotel Chur was awesome, they upgraded us to a river side room and helped us plan our day. The hotel is directly across from the old city and a 7ish min walk from the train. This is a solid 3 star hotel, not fancy but comfortable and clean. I would stay again.

Ok but could do better
It is surprising what is considered the most expensive room. Furniture needed updating. It wasn’t old in a traditional way but in a been here and knocked about way. View from room was other roofs. When I queried that it was the most expensive I was told it was a quiet room.! Restaurant was closed apart from breakfast which was disappointing as we always choose hotel with restaurant. Close to railway station but also on a corner of busy busy road. Parking is ok if you have a small car. We don’t and it was a very tight squeeze. Photo of hotel is very flattering. The shower is over a bath so can be tricky to access for anyone who can’t get in it out if bath easily .

Como for one night
It was a good hotel close to the station and the river. As was a hot day there’s no air conditioning but during the night the fresh air from the alps was amazing. The breakfast was very nice.

Hotel is located right on Kasernenstrasse, so if youre place in a room facing the street or the roundabout, especially on a weekend, be prepared to hear a lot of noise from the cars, a people yelling on the street at night. If you're coming in the summer, there's no Air Conditioning so it can get hot. There's a small fan and a window you can open. Overall, it's ok.

The hotelier and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is charming, clean and quiet. A short walk from the train station and right next to the old city.

Great central location; Old Town just steps away, mountain gondola and train station a short walk. Friendly staff were very accommodating when we asked for an early check in.

15 min walk to station. Located next to "old town". Large room with very basic furniture. But comfortable bed and lovely shower - but rather threadbare towels. Quiet overnight despite central location. Pleasant enough breakfast.

Disappointing hotel
Hotel has amazing location but is stuck in early 90ies... the room looked terrible, very dark with old squeaky furniture- closet kept opening when we walked past... bathroom was ok. Biggest disappointment was that while booking it hasn’t been made clear that the bar and restaurant are not open and for dinner one needs to order take aways... breakfast was very basic with no cooked option available. Good bread though! One good thing was free parking on site.

Nice.
Enjoyed my stay here. Great location - right near the old town, not too far of a walk from the train station and relatively easy to find. The bathroom felt a bit outdated, but the cleanliness of both the room and bathroom was impeccable. The only downside is that there are a lot of bars/nightclubs nearby, and as my room was overlooking the main road, there was one night in which I was slightly disturbed by the noise. I had the window shut, so I imagine this would be more of a problem if the window was open.Obviously, however, this is not the hotel’s fault. I would stay here again.

The entire staff at Hotel Chur were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on the edge of Old Town. Only a 5 minute walk to the center of Old town and a 10 minute walk to the train. Very close to the cable car, for skiing and tobogganing, we enjoyed the Buffett breakfast too!

It was a quaint little room that was "fine" for a single night stay. I was able to go to the adjacent/attached restaurant for some ice and a couple glasses of wine. Very pleasant staff with somewhat limited English but we did get discount tickets and instructions from the clerk at the desk. Overall a very pleasant evening.

The hotel was very nice however it was at a busy intersection . Our room was next to a rushing stream that ended up being very loud with the window open. It was a short walk into town and not too far from the train station. The front door closes at 8 and you have to use your key to get in. No staff at the desk and it was a little dark but other than that perfectly fine.

Our room in city center was great. Room next to a fast flowing river. Only bad part was the chain smoker in room 327 next to us. It is a non smoking hotel & when I complained they said they look into it but did't.
