Good location. Close to some bars, so very loud late at night, especially around 2-3 am. Also, the hotel rumbles when the Metro goes by. One room only had warm water for showers, no hot water. Great restaurants around the hotel.

Nice amenities, more than most hotels at this level. Lobby is pretty shabby/outdated; needs a refresh, as does the room furniture. Great shower, however, and a very comfy mattress, very ample closet/drawer space. A little noisy because it faces a busy street, so keep that in mind if you don't like garbage trucks at 5am. Biggest issue: room as HOT. Turned the thermostat all the way down to no avail. Thank goodness it was cold outside and we could crack the window a little. Unbearably hot to try and sleep. Attentive staff who really care and went out of their way to help a sick guest (me). Well-located, an easy walk to the Louvre, Opera House, etc. Would I stay there again? Probably not; too many other choices nearby.

The first thing to say about the hotel is the location. It is perfectly located if you want to explore Paris. The building itself is historical. It has been well maintained. The staff are very responsive and very hopeful with nearly everything we needed.
