That was no problem; we had a nice walk, a great dinner, and really loved the onsen!"

The facilities may be a bit dated compared to big brands, but the staff, the food, view and the serene surroundings more than make up the fancy gadgets that might not be available. "A small inn ran by an old couple; I didn't see much of the husband, he seemed to be busy doing various tasks around the property. The wife was a kind lady, who will help you easily if you need it, she also has a decent grasp of English so you shouldn't need much google translate, especially if you know a bit if Japanese yourself.
