"This is an old school honestly, but with nicely separated living spaces (shred bathrooms). Not squeaky clean, and a bit outdated…but human and not without charm. The owner is a super courteous dude. You may need a car as it is a few kilometers 40 minute walk from the train station. The payoff is the silence and chill vibes out here. I enjoyed my stay. "

"The staff was very nice, but the air conditioning was very noisy - it was always there and there was no way to fix it. However, they kindly cancelled the reservation for me and the staff were very accommodating."

"Great service from the staff and room (432) was the nicest i have stayed in over 21 years visiting Japan. This is a traditional style Japanese Hotel so no shoes but well worth the stay. Highly recommended and a must over ight stay if visiting Miyajima !"
