We had a lovely overnight stay. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very generous. The staff were very friendly. Plenty of parking and it was walking distance to shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

The pod was cold when we arrived and we struggled to get the fire to draw and take hold. Once going it was a little better. The staff were great and ready to help with more wood. The lodge was a fabulous warm space. So much character! Breakfast was good but the frozen evening meals system was not ...
