"We found La Maison extremely convenient midway between Bari airport and our cruise port in Taranto. It is a family establishment, very clean and safe. We used the pickup and drop off car, the service was impeccable too! They recommended a resturant for our next night stay that was not only close walking but delicious. Highly recommend. Grazi!!!"

"I travel, not for the places to stay, but for the people I meet. This accommodation provided both John the host and his son Andre, their mother. Maria were exceptional. The food was homemade and superb, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the surroundings were tranquil. I could not recommend it more."

"Foul weather caused our British Airlines flight to divert to the little town of Bari. We were a plane full of holiday travelers just off-loaded at 8 pm and told by BA - here is your luggage, we will leave in 12 hours, good luck finding accommodations for yourself.
Using Expedia I was able to get a room at this hotel pretty quickly. Others in flight not so lucky, hotels were booking up fast as our flight was not the only unexpected aircraft to divert to Bari.

"Beautiful and quiet. The chef is amazing and our dinner was delicious. The manager/waiter was not so pleasant. I think it may have been a language barrier issue as we don’t speak Italian and he doesn’t speak English and he didn’t have much patience for translating. We also found the men who checked us in were not very welcoming. For such a beautiful hotel the front desk people should be much more welcoming. "This place is a jewel in Altamura! Rooms are brand new with everything you might need and spacious. They have an AMAZING SPA. We booked it for an hour and 15 minutes and cannot say enough good things about it. You are by yourself and they have sauna, steam, jacuzzi and more. The showers of hot and cold water are u ique. Strongly recommend this place! "

"Adoramos a estada no Cenóbio Hotel. Ficamos na suíte dentro de uma gruta. Uma experiência incrível, como sonhávamos. Suíte impecável, cama confortável e tudo necessário para uma estadia perfeita. Contratamos um transfer pelo hotel e quando chegamos ao ponto de encontro, a equipe já estava ao nosso aguardo para carregar a mala, já que o hotel fica em um local que não transita carros. "Trattandosi di un viaggio di lavoro non ho utilizzato le offerte come SPA e piscina. Ma, l'hotel è molto confortevole, possiede un vasto parcheggio gratuito, è ubicato in periferia (cosa che in una città piccola come Matera è realmente ininfluente) quindi senza le problematiche della ZTL e del traffico mattutino urbano. La colazione è ottima e variegata (potrebbe migliorare se le bevande calde fossero preparate a richiesta e non con la "macchinetta", che non fa un caffè o un cappuccino di qualità adeguata al gusto di un cliente italiano). Stanza confortevole, ampia, con tutte le dotazioni necessarie (apprezzato l'angolo di lavoro con scrivania degna di questo nome, poltroncina ergonomica e punto luce). Menzione di lode per la qualità di materasso, cuscini e biancheria del letto. Un filino rumoroso il climatizzatore."
