"Clean and fun, great location to Amish Village Tour and Sight & Sound "

"This proves what I don't like about Hotels.com. I have to pay up front before I even get to the property. Pictures of the place don't describe how bad conditions are at the Strasburg Clarion Inn. We checked in and the front desk said they do not clean rooms every day, in fact we requested a Monday clean and it never happened. The place is very run down and the entire outside looks like a million coats of paint on an ugly pig. The sidewalks, many being brick, are sagging and in need of replacement. The bathrooms are antique and I had to personally fix the toilet to get it to flush. The lack of daily cleaning meant garbage was piled up outside rooms everywhere. We had to walk up and ask the front desk for more toilet paper, and they authorized us one roll. They parking lot was full of glass in one area and never got cleaned up. We wanted so bad to leave and find another hotel, but I paid for 5 nights already. Anyone who reads this. Don't stay at this hotel!!!"

"We had a great stay at Cabin 6! Truly the best view on the property & completely secluded while in the hot tub. Hot tub was clean, warm & great! Fire pit was ready for use & a few pieces of wood were left for us. Inside was overall okay, everything was clean & accesible. Truly our only complaint was there’s not one comfortable spot to sit. The dining chairs have been reupholstered with no padding, the couch is very hard & the bed springs are protruding in both rooms. We knew it was a cabin, but outside time does come to an end & the comfort is lacking. Service is spotty, but the Wifi works great! Tyler was a great host, & we would return! I’d recommend bringing hot tub towels & a mattress pad! "

"Good AC/HEAT, decent space for five to six people, nice for your $, if there was one downside it would be that there were a few stains on the futon. They supplied dishes, plates, cutlery, etc. Overall a good stay, and we’d bring a sheet to put over the futon to sleep on it. "
