"We really enjoyed our stay. The room was a good size, quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was in a great location very near the train station and it was also walkable restaurants, shops and parks. "
"Its a "romance hotel," which I didn't realize until I got there, so I was naturally confused when I entered the front door as there is no reception desk just 4 buttons you can press to select your room type and a phone. I stood around confused for long enough that a nice employee saw me confused on a security camera and came to help. "Right by the station, location’s a gem. Convenience store at level one, connected to the hotel makes it quite tempting to buy something back all the time. Toilet seems rather refreshed and new despite the retro feel of the hotel, very comfortable stay for four nights. "
"This was a beautiful experience, it felt like a real Japanese lifestyle, the owners were very serviceable and so sweet, it is a genuine place, not like a modern ryokan, this was the real deal"

"We stayed here one night on our way to Takayama. It was a great hotel and located 5ish minutes walk from the train station. It was perfect for our needs! "
"The room was clean and just roomy enough for one person. The lack a of sink in the bathroom was a bit of a negative though. The spa was a big plus for me because I need to recover from the long drive from Hiroshima before climbing in the Northern Alps. The staff were very friendly! Great smiles!"
"The staff are hardworking, polite, friendly to us, they are second to none! Much better if the brekky may include orange or fruits choice, instead of full meal, for those who watch weight ha ha."

I interacted with a few of the employees because of my presentation as a confused foreigner, but everyone was very nice and accommodating. "
