"The lodge is ideally located in central Chobe National Park (preferably access with small plane at Savuti). Great for day safari trip. The GM couple is extremely caring and the staff very attentive to your needs. It's an amazing place. Prefer to go on dry season, as during wet season (Jan-April) animals are more difficult to see and some roads are flooded"

"Unfortunately, we had a very mixed stay, with overall disappointment. Starting with the positives, Nokanyana is in a very nice setting, the staff on the property (restaurant, front desk, support functions) were all exceptional - attentive and friendly. The room was spacious and we had everything we needed. Where Nokanyana failed spectacularly is what actually mattered to us most given the location: game drives. It is 7-8 chalets and a few campsites large. Advice for future travelers, turn off the tar road at the "Xhabe Safari 2km" sign at top of the hill and do not rely on the GPS. "

"A fabulous place with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Our guide was the most knowledgeable man who knew the name of every bird and animal we saw. He could spot the smallest bird at the top of a tree whilst driving. He found us our first Leopard - amazing. My husband managed to lose his phone and the guide was able to track that in the bush as well!!! It was a long day with two drives and we were there for 5 nights which was maybe one too many. We have...

10/10 Excellent
"This was a great value in Kasane. The hotel is close to the airport and offers free van transportation. Common areas and my room were very clean. Breakfast buffet was included in my room charge and was high quality. I had dinner there one night; they offer a buffet as well as a full menu. Swimming pool was nice. Most of the tour operator will pick you up a the hotel also. Staff was pleasant and helpful."
