"Older place with character. Only weaknesses are breakfast was mostly starch, and second floor was not air conditioned in the hall. Loved the London double decker bus and the decorations, and the desk guy Todd loved the hotel and the whole region. Great gateway to Midland."

"The gym was not available due to the ongoing remodel, also, the hallways were dusty, the walls were raw, the room number signs and signage in general were sitting on the floor, also due to the remodel. I asked for a room away from the elevator and ice machine and the check in person mumbled something and gave me a room right next to the elevator and ice machine 😀."

"The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly, the housekeepers were friendly, helpful, and efficient. We loved the pool and whirlpool and the area around it was nice. We liked that you could walk to so many places. Only one suggestion would be to offer coffee and water in the lobby"

"The hotel is clean and the staff pleasant. They are in the middle of upgrading the property as workers are about cleaning and improving. The price was reasonable and when my tv would not work they moved me to a nicer room with a working tv."

"I was hesitant to stay in a chain hotel, but I didn’t have a choice in this instance. I was beyond surprised. This hotel had beautiful bathroom amenities (full sized Dove products) and tea and coffee making supplies in the room. The staff were very kind and helpful-they even sent me a dress I left behind on the day after I checked out. This was honestly, in a lifetime of traveling, one of the most convenient and easy hotels I’ve stayed in."

"Absolutely love this property! It was perfect for me and my wife and our small dogs. Super easy to get to with a very convenient, yet quiet location. Also, if you're not local and are still seeing the pictures from when the lake was drained, it is back and is wonderful!"

"Grill didn’t work. Needed to be a bit more manicured outside in the yard. I’m a light sleeper so the cabin is located right off a very busy street. The cabin had a musty smell. But other than that we still had a very great time. I think it was a bit over priced for the stay."
