Hotel is in a perfect location. Close to airport and town situated on the beach. Limited parking is available but when they have events like weddings etc the parking is non existent.

The friendly staff made us feel right at home, and the beautiful beach was the perfect place to relax. The property was clean. While we would have appreciated more sunbeds, our overall experience was excellent.

The hotel is well located with restaurants and beach right near. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant manager, Dimitros, gave us a best choice of the fish restaurants in Lagade, where we enjoyed a lot the local food. Rooms are outdated and should be renovated, but it didn't affect our great stay at this hotel. By my opinion, if you are going to Chios, it is the best option to stay due the beach and pool. The breakfast/dinner/supper has a lot to choose from and the service is highly rated. Overall, we had a good time and will return to this property if will be back to Chios.

It was very European. Not the same as American, but we were in Europe to be in Europe, not to be in the US. The food was amazing, we had to wait for food, but when it came, it was consistently worth the wait. We would return to Golden Sands Hotel.

I absolutely enjoyed my visit to Golden Sands Hotel. Beginning with the excellent staff communications, and their personal welcome, and continuing with the room accomodations, and the pool overlooking the beach. I was there for a wedding party, and I was very happy with my hotel choice. As a solo "senior" woman, it is important to me to feel safe, to know that someone cares about my comfort and well-being. This is all true at the Golden Sands Hotel. I recommend it highly and can't wait to visit again!

The location of the hotel was so nice however as many other hotels or buildings in island the building was so old. However the rooms and the hotel in general was clean. The breakfast was poor. We did not have the chance to swim in sea or pool due to poor weather conditions. The staff was so kind and friendly.

The staff are great, but it looks and feels like the owners have not spent a cent on it since it was built in the 70’s. So, it is tired. There’s nothing wrong with it - it is clean, staff are friendly and efficient, but it is not up to modern standards.

Great location. Terrible old hard matresses. College dorm beds. A little investment would go a long way. Great grounds keepers. Great staff ar front desk. Great breakfast . Rooms needs painting and furniture upgrade. Excellent laundry service. Parking a nightmare. If they put decent beds and pillows and some paint in the rooms it would be much better. i would still reccomend the hotel for the location , great staff and great breakfast
