I was very surprised at the size of the room, and the king size bed was very comfortable. It had any pillows of size and shape. It was also just across the road from the RSL. and cinema around the corner

Awesome Central Motel
Awesome little motel, it’s our go-to when we’re staying in town, it’s central so makes it easy to walk where we want to go rather than driving. Always comfortable and clean. Only criticism is the air conditioner didn’t work awesomely, cooled the room just not too much

Very clean and comfortable. Booked the executive room for 3 people. Sofa bed was comfortable. Could have used a couple of extra pillows and another blanket. Would have been fine for 2 people, but the extras really are required for 3. Also only 2 bath towels were provided. Did not realise this until late, after reception was closed and we couldn’t ask for another one. Had to use the hand towel.

The motel is centrally located in Chinchilla. The RSL is across the road. On grounds parking for our vehicle was undercover. The manager/owner Julie-Anne met us at the door, and her poor slowly met us too. Both were friendly, welcoming and accomodating. Will book again if we venture that way again!

Clean and comfortable
The room was very comfortable and clean. The swimming pool was not inviting, which was a shame, as it was a hot day and we had just driven 4 1/2 hrs and we were looking to cool down in the pool. The connection to the movies also wasn’t co-operating, but they sorted that out within 30 minutes for us. Overall, a very clean, comfortable stay close to restaurants and shopping centre in the heart of Chinchilla.

Staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. We had a couple of issues with the room. The bathroom drain had a terrible smell, and the key pad that controls the lights malfunctioned (manager was able to fix eventually). Other guests were a bit noisy outside at night but quiet by 10.30pm. Lights outside were a bit bright - room wasn’t dark enough.

I liked that they were clean and tidy. The little kitchen is big enough for what you need. I would prefer to have more options for families (2 seperate bedrooms)

Motel is in a great location, central to town with no road noise. Walk across the road for dinner at the RSL and brekkie on site. While many workers for local industry stay there, they were very considerate and reasonably quiet when leaving in the morning with all their big 4WD vehicles, probably heard 2 out of 30 vehicles? Unit was very nice and very comfortable for my elderly dad and I. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Thoroughly recommend this location, and will stay again when next in town.
