"Clean and comfortable stay. The pool wasn’t very warm, but it was still fine for swimming with our 4-year-old. Breakfast was good, with fresh coffee, decaf coffee, hot water, and tea bags available.
There were many food trucks near the hotel, mostly Mexican food trucks. We didn’t get to try them, but they smelled really good even just driving by on the road nearby."
"It was a great place to stay for the night. Clean, easy in and out, a kind host. We were surprised at how nice of an experience it was and would stay there again."
"Because I had an injury a few days earlier, I was granted a first floor room so I didn't need to climb stairs. This made parking and unloading very convenient just a few feet from our room."
"The property was perfect for our weekend in Goldendale! It felt like a vacation in itself. The home was the perfect size and there were so many fun things for the kids to do. We didn’t get to explore everything we wanted to, but my kids loved the pretend jail house, the ninja course, and the hot tub. We enjoyed slow mornings in the beautiful setting. We will be back again!"
"One night stay at this lovely property. Excellent riverfront location with walking path and views. Good food and service in restaurant. Restaurant does need some warming up both aesthetically and literally. Chilly in there for breakfast on a chilly morning. Our room was spacious and clean and on the ground floor near pool. Loud guests in pool area late night after pool was supposedly closed. Used white noise on phone to drown them out. We would stay here again but probably request a room away from pool."
"Me and my pup had a really nice, restful stay at the Rodeway Inn in Boardman OR! Very low-drama, quiet, easiest check-in I have had (and I travel a lot!), and the gentleman at the front desk was very polite, friendly, and helpful- even as I checked in late!
He gave us an easy to find room right near the hotel office. The room was bright, spacious (huge bathroom), very clean!, and the bed was very comfortable. I loved that it was an older-style building with only single level rooms (no one above you), and you can park right in front of your room! Lots of parking.
I didn’t partake, but there was coffee and vending treats in the office. As well as an ice machine. Only recommendation would be a larger, lighted grass area for pets, close by -especially for night potty break. The front lawns have no pets signs,
and we had to walk to unlit areas in the dark. Overall, I would love to stay again!"
"Stayed at Arlington Inn and was very disappointed with the condition of both the room and property. The room was not clean upon arrival. The carpet had dirt, other guests’ fingernail clippings along the edges, and small dead bugs. The bathroom floor was cracked and felt soft underneath, which seemed unsafe. Walls had visible grime, greasy smudges, and what appeared to be dried mucus. The bathroom ceiling also had dried dead bugs. There was no smoke alarm in the room, which was especially concerning.
Furniture was in poor shape as well. The dresser drawers were broken and dirty inside, the nightstand was dirty, and the bed frame was a hollow metal frame that made loud popping noises whenever you moved.
The listing advertised free breakfast, but it consisted of a wrapped Honey Bun, coffee, and a choice of Sunny D or Tampico sugary drinks. That was far below expectations.
Outside the room, the property was run down and cluttered. The laundry room was basically a closet, and the dryer had no heat even after I paid to use it, with no sign warning guests it was broken. The parking lot had garbage, broken microwaves, refrigerators, chairs, BBQs, and trash under the gazebo. Buildings around the property looked neglected with broken furniture and overgrown weeds.
They also charge $10 per day for pets, which felt unreasonable considering the grounds did not feel clean or safe for pets to walk around.
Overall, the property needs serious cleaning, maintenance, and attention to safet"
