This Chalet was awesome! Plenty of room everything you needed to cook your own meals. Clean house with comfortable beds in a quiet area. Owner was very responsive when we had a question. Easy walk to the beautiful lake lots of birds to watch. Great dark sky for star gazing. We used this as our base camp to explore Crater lake and it was perfect for our group.

Lovely
My family and I stayed two nights so we could visit Crater Lake. We had a lovely relaxing stay. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bathrooms had plenty of towels for everyone. We enjoyed watching the sunset by the lake and even saw some bald eagles flying around. Very quiet location and only about 40 minutes to Crater Lake.

Staying at this house was awesome. It was close to the places we wanted to visit, and comfortable and cozy to come back to. It had everything we needed, and watching the sunset by the lake was incredible! Overall, wow!

Pretty Nice home and quiet neighborhood, we enjoyed our stay and it was nice to find a place that takes pets, I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to bring your pets and feel comfortable while your in the home

Perfect chalet
The property was perfect and beautiful. Great location! Watched a scary movie in the evening with their DVD/ movie collection. The king size bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the utensils I needed. Ended up seeing an eagle right after sunrise. Wish I was staying more days and would absolutely come back again!

Kitchen had everything you could want. House gets a lovely breeze which helped keep bugs away. Couldn't get grill to work, that was the only issue. Great stay!

Rustic Getaway
We enjoyed ot stay at the Chalet while visiting Crater Lake National Park. It's in a rural and rustic setting- very peaceful. House was well equipped and generally clean although we noticed some spider webs here and there.

Great Crater Lake stay
Great stay. Host was super helpful. We loved the little private beach down the road and the use of kayaks. People in town were nice but I do recommend getting groceries in Klamath Falls before arriving. Would definitely stay here again!

It was good
first off the place was very clean and very well kept. the only reasons this is not getting a 5 star is because . 1.) the fire place inside does not work idk if just broken or gas is not hooked up. 2.) we had planed on BBQing some food when we got there but when we got there the was a list of rules 1 of them being NO BBQing or fires outside and no where did it say anything about this online. 3.) a large part of the place is private and u cannot walk or go. so once u get there not much to do with no fires BBQ or walking anywhere very far. all in all i dont think it was worth the 350$ we spent but thats just me. If just going for the night and if it was cheaper it would be great.

If Joshua had only called I would have told him the George Foreman Electric Grill was in the garage with the kayaks. Guests rarely use it during the winter. It is on the site that no outdoor fires are allowed. There is a beautiful private park on the lake a 100 yards away to walk in along with all the roads in the subdivision. We just ask our guests not to walk on other peoples private property. We now heat with electricity & will be changing the unit to an electric one. Mary Anna

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time!! The house was much larger than anticipated. My girls screamed “it’s a treehouse” when they saw their room! Highly recommend!!

Short but sweet trip
The property was nestled between pine trees and just a minute walk to the lake. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the lake, but they do have two single kayaks you can use. I would recommend that you bring your own food to cook since there isn’t a lot of restaurants in the area. They have a electric grill you can use to grill burgers on or a full kitchen. The place is also close to Crater Lake and other National Parks. I recommend you go explore! We loved hearing and seeing the bald eagles around the property. Just keep an eye on your little pooch :) Management was so incredibly communicative and friendly! Especially their son Nolan. He was so friendly, helpful and fun to talk to. We had a really nice time.

Everything was just like the pictures except there were spiders and other bugs in the bathtub and spider webs in the corners. The kitchen table had food on it and other surfaces looked like they had not been wiped down.

Fantastic lake retreat!
The Chalet is super clean and comfortable—it’s just a stone’s throw from Agency Lake, which was so warm in July. We took an evening swim when we arrived, dined at the outdoor picnic table while an eagle swooped over us and landed in the tree over our heads. We kayaked in the morning using the equipment at the cottage. Everything we needed was included—thanks so much for a memorable time. We hope to return!

Wonderful cabin!
We were amazed at how clean and big this cabin is and the proximity to the lake is fantastic. We were there during a snowstorm and stayed warm and cozy; we will definitely be back in the summer!

Cabin in the woods
If you are looking for a quiet place away from the City where you can relax and take a break, this is the place. Crater Lake is about 30 minutes drive. Perfect spot for our family vacation!

Very considerate hosts.
Due to a water disruption in the development, we couldn't be accommodated both nights of our reservation. However, our hostess reached out via telephone, in a timely manner, with a contingency plan in place and well communicated. Everything transitioned seamlessly and we were in the home for the second night of our reserved stay. Very well handled. Kudos and thanks to MaryAnna.

Family get away
The house was great for our family of 4 and our dog. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had basically everything we needed to cook. The house was very clean and we really enjoyed the movie selection. Was great for our kids to get to play with a VHS player and go through the selection of movies. The only down side to our stay was the bugs. For summer-time stay, definitely be ready to lots of mosquitos and gnats. We would have liked to spend more time by the lake.

It’s like a summer sleepaway camp for the whole fam!
Such a cool little-big house! This was exactly what my family was looking for to round out our crater lake weekend. We were impressed with how well-stocked and clean the place was (except for one critical item, a cutting board). Comfy amount of space for a family of four, and room for more! Though I would say that adults could certainly feel their weight on the twin beds. All in all, great stay. Beautiful (& and kinda quirky) lake. Nice VHS collection. Angels in the Outfield will never lose its splendor. Thank you!

Cozy and Comfortable close to Crater Lake
We stayed at the cabin for 3 nights while hiking at Crater Lake National Park. The cabin had everything we needed and was in a convenient location to get to the park each day. The bed was comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with essentials to cook meals. It was quite refreshing to have a reason to “unplug” as there was no WiFi at the cabin. We would highly recommend for any nature enthusiasts!

Loved the house, but especially the outside! Beautiful sunsets down by the lake. Wonderful Master bedroom with a view. So pleasant in July, cool and lovely weather. Easy drive up to Crater Lake. Buy groceries and cook in is my recommendation.

The pictures are accurate. It is clean, cozy & charming. Well stocked. If you are looking for a raucous time, not for you. If you want to enjoy lovely scenery, water fowl, & quiet, you will love it. Can't swim in the lake & need bug spray! No wifi, or satellite TV. We loved sitting outside, grilling, & enjoying our visit. Close to Crater Lake.

This is a charming little house close to Crater Lake. The property is easy to get to and located near a pretty lake. There is one bedroom with a king bed and one with 2 twins upstairs, and a downstairs bedroom with a futon. The bedroom with the king also has a child-sized bed. There is one bathroom up and one down, both with good showers. The decor is pretty, with new bed linens and very comfortable mattresses. There is no wifi, and local cell service was spotty. But there are plenty of games and movies in the house. Unlike other properties, there were no instructions regarding the property, such as trash pickup, etc. Not a problem for us since we only stayed 1 night, but if you're staying longer, that's important info to have. There were also no recommendations for restaurants or other activities in the area. When we arrived about 8 PM after a long day of hiking at Crater Lake. it seemed there was no place to have dinner. I called the owner, and she said our only option was the casino. Our dinner there was not what we were looking for, but it had to do.

Lakeside cosiness!
Cosy A-Frame cabin steps from Agency Lake and within one hour of Crater Lake was the perfect stopover for our family. Not much nearby so bring your own food and drink and settle in. Highly recommended!

Great quiet location to many fun activities.
The house is in a terrific location with access to a lake and many hiking trails as well as Crater Lake and the Chiloquin train museum. It could stand a few upgrades in bed blankets and shower curtains, and the mouse that visits the kitchen at night should be relocated. Although there is no TV, the movie selection is fun.

Overall I found the house to be clean and have everything we needed. When we had questions the owner responded right way and way helpful. There is a beautiful lake just down the road from the house. We were hope for more of a recreation lake, maybe with some fishing or swimming. This was not the case with this lake. My kids still enjoyed playing at the waters edge.

Cozy yet spacious
My husband and I stayed at this chalet while exploring Crater Lake. The chalet is conveniently located about 30 minutes south of the visitors center and was easy to find.Most of the places to stay in the Crater Lake area aside from the lodge are cabins or vacation rentals and much of the area is pretty remote. We appreciated the the chalet is very near a small town so we were near a store, gas station and a couple of restaurants. The chalet kitchen was well equipped, open and clean. The whole place was nice and clean and charmingly rustic. There were plenty of towels, wash clothes, kitchen towels and bedding. There's no cable or satellite but a good selection of movies (both kid and adult) was available. The main room is spacious with plenty of seating that would comfortably accommodate a larger group. The bedrooms are good size and the king bed was comfortable. They also provided plenty of pillows which I really appreciated. I was a little disappointed when I realized there wasn't a washer dryer but that's my bad for assuming rather than checking. The chalet is across from a lovely little lake park. I wish we had more time to enjoy the immediate area. The owner was very responsive to all our communication and pleasant to speak to. We would love to stay there again sometime and totally recommend it.
