Escape to the peaceful mountain village of Chies d’Alpago and enjoy a stay in this spacious holiday home with WiFi, ideal for up to 9 guests and pet-friendly. Located just 20 metres from the town centre, this traditional three-storey house combines rustic mountain charm with modern comfort in the heart of the Veneto region.
On the ground floor, you will find a large fully equipped kitchen with a fireplace, dishwasher, coffee machine and oven, perfect for enjoying meals together, as well as a cozy living room with TV and a seating area.
The first floor features three bedrooms (two double rooms and one single room) and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and one with a shower. A small sitting area and a balcony or terrace provide pleasant spaces to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
On the top floor, there is a second open kitchen and a spacious living/bedroom area with two double sofa beds, a dining table and a private bathroom, making it ideal for families or groups.
Outside, guests can enjoy a private garden with sun loungers, barbecue and garden furniture. The house also offers a high chair, travel cot and parking. With lakes, hiking trails and ski areas nearby, it is the perfect base for a nature getaway in every season. A car is a necessity! Please make sure you rent your own car! Ein altes, aber sehr gepflegtes Haus: große, geräumige Zimmer, gemütlich und mit reichlich Küchenutensilien. Die freundliche Frau, die uns empfing, wollte uns alles in einer Mischung aus Italienisch, Spanisch und Englisch erzählen. Da ich Portugiesisch spreche, kam ich zwar zurecht, aber sonst wäre die Schlüsselübergabe vielleicht ein Problem gewesen. Eines Tages, als wir keinen Strom hatten, rief ich die Besitzerin selbst an und sie versuchte mir zu helfen, sprach aber kein Wort Englisch oder eine andere Sprache. Schließlich schickte sie jemanden, den sie kannte, um uns zu zeigen, wo wir den Strom wieder einschalten könnten. Sie war freundlich und hilfsbereit, allerdings war es schade, dass die Sprache ein Hindernis darstellte. Die Lage dieses Hauses ist sehr schön, für Ausflüge jedoch nicht gerade günstig (es liegt am Rande der Dolomiten). Ziemlich weit vom Zentrum der Dolomiten entfernt (ca. 1,5 Stunden Fahrt auf (schönen) Nebenstraßen). Für Venedig hingegen war das schön. Der Bahnhof Statioze d'Alpago ist 15 Autominuten entfernt. Dort können Sie Ihr Auto parken und haben eine direkte Verbindung nach Venedig (1,5 Stunden). Kaufen Sie Ihre Bahntickets unbedingt online! Das Parken am Haus war ein Problem. Durch eine sehr enge Straße (eher Steigung) können Sie beim Rückwärtseinparken Ihr fahrerisches Können unter Beweis stellen. Das war jedes Mal spannend, weil es für einen Prius sehr eng ist. Das Haus liegt neben einer Kirche, einer Bar und einem kleinen Supermarkt. Ein Bäcker etwas weiter entfernt. Es gibt in diesem Dorf nichts anderes zu tun oder zu sehen. Das nächste Restaurant (Pizzeria) ist weniger als 10 Autominuten entfernt. War ein angenehmer und ruhiger Aufenthalt.
