Clean room, unthinkable amount of amenities (though costly) and staff were nice. Had such a blast and definitely worth the drive to Anchorage each time as the scenery was absolutely amazing during the drive. Would rather stay in Girdwood and drive to Anchorage for more excursions any day! Girdwood is a stunner.

Room and bathroom is clean, although sheets had old sticker residue and ripped hole in pillow case. Pillows are near flat and bedding was thin with no extra provided. No USB ports in room was an unexpected added cost to buy wall charger. Also had homeless hanging near garbage cans outside. Staff was friendly and quick check in/out. Washer & dryer for laundry on each floor is nice, as well as vending for snacks/drinks.
You can tell there has been some upgrades to rooms/bathrooms but minor wall damage and other minor things indicates an older hotel.
