Congress Plaza Hotel
The staff were friendly, but the hotel itself is run down and pretty terrible. Breaker boxes were wide open in the hallway with wires just hanging freely, paint was chipped and peeling, the room stunk.. just to name a few.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown River North
Good room lower floor was a little close to the street and a little loud but it’s Chicago so to be expected. Breakfast was good and the room was clean.

Hilton Chicago/Magnificent Mile Suites
Clean room. Had a great time. I knocked off a star because when booking it said breakfast was included however only if you are a gold/diamond Hilton member. When I shared that with the staff they shrugged it off dismissively. Overall great stay beyond that.
