My fiancée and I were hoping for a quiet, relaxing stay at Locanda Gulfi. From the outside, the hotel promised everything we wanted: A gorgeous stretch of Sicilian countryside, a large pool, well-kept grounds. What followed was sadly the worst vacation we have experienced so far. Unannounced, the hotel celebrated a party until 3 o'clock in the morning, including loud blaring DJ music. On our inquiry at 11 pm, we were first referred to the fact that the music would end at 12am. Unfortunately, even then it was not over - but only around 3am. So we had certainly not imagined the vacation - completely sleepless and therefore unrefreshed. The manager of the hotel promised us compensation for this night. We were supposed to claim this via Expedia after the trip. Unfortunately, now that we are back home, this was not granted to us. Clear rip-off. PS: Breakfast in Sicily is generally not very lavish. However, we had expected from a Michelin star award-winning restaurant a little more than dry bread and olive oil...

Gulfi was GREAT!
They were amazing. Had a wine tasting, dinner in their Michelin rated restaurant and nice accommodations.

Excellent from the very first interaction. Excellent food and wine. Excellent Crew. Superb service. Felt very welcome throughout entire stay. Stunning grounds. Perfect location for an intimate/large wedding. Highly recommended. To the entire team at Locanda Gulfi, grazie mille! You have a true GEM on your hands and we cannot wait to spread the word.

From check in, to a pre dinner drink, to evening meal, breakfast to using the pool, a totally wonderful experience. The rooms are well appointed with a few added extra touches to welcome you. The evening meal was wonderful with wine pairings, and. view into the chefs kitchen. Breakfast also was a delight. Locanda Gulfi has been beautifully renovated to a high standard.

Wonderful location in the country
This had many of the attributes of a 5 star hotel. There was a very large swimming pool with views over the surrounding countryside. The restaurant was of very high quality, although the portions were small and it was quite pricey. Overall, this hotel is very highly recommended.

Secluded vineyard with an incredible pool and view
We really enjoyed our stay at Locanda Gulfi, although it is in a secluded location it is only a 20 minute drive from Comiso airport and well sign posted from the main roads. The view across the countryside is spectacular from all points especially the beautiful pool. The staff went out of their way to make our stay great and were always accommodating letting us stay later as we had an evening flight and getting us pastries to go with our wine one afternoon! Dinner at the restaurant is a must, and the wine to match was lovely.

Fantastisk vingård :0)
Fantastisk autentisk oplevelse på locanda gulfi.. Stedet oser af god stemning og afslapning i helt ugeneret omgivelser.. Personalet er meget obs på at man har det godt og står til rådighed hele tiden... Udover elegant vin og fantastisk mad kan man nemt bruge 3 dage her på ren hygge og selvfølgelig vin :0) Ville helt klart vende tilbage til det her vidunderlige sted..

Ho trovato nei Gulfi il luogo ideale per rilassarmi e riposarmi , nel contempo mangiando e bevendo in modo assolutamente buono.una buona pausa di riflessione!
