Hotel location is a bit far from Old City, a bit outskirt; but the hotel provides shuttle services to the nearest mall every 2 hours, where one can take Grab to the old city. Recommend to get a sim card at 7-11 to move around in Chiangmai rather than travelling by tuk tuk. One good point is the hotel does send the guests to the Sunday walking street and saturday night market. I would like to thanks the expedia personnel (cant remember her name, sorry) who helped me to arrange shuttle service to pick me up at the airport upon arrival at Chiangmai.

A Friendly, Well Run Place
Very friendly, and very well run. Good location if you have wheels. Good breakfast. The only negative is that the walls are not soundproof enough as the nextdoor neighbors are easily heard.

Great hotel and staff. Very memorable stay!
Great hotel with lovely staff. They have maintained the hotel and rooms very well and provide lots of useful services (shuttles, bikes, motorbike rentals) etc. Breakfast is amazing with lots of options, though there could be more vegetarian and vegan options - right now there are only 1-2 out of 10+ items. The location is good but slightly away from the old city, but the shuttle service takes you to a mall close to the old city, so you can grab a taxi from there. The airport shuttle should run until later in the day or the times should be clearly stated on the listings so guests can arrange transport early. Overall, really enjoyed the stay. Would stay again!

Hotel with free shuttle to shopping centre
This hotel provides a free shuttle service to the Maya Mall which is very convenient to have your dinner there. Plus this hotel also provide free airport transfer which is another benefit for the hotel guests. The hotel staff are very helpful. There is a free breakfast every morning. The room is quite spacious and the bed is comfortable.

New and Modern Budget Hotel
We only stayed a couple short days at this hotel but were pleased with all the facilities and staff. It is modern, clean and the staff are very nice. It includes a very good buffet breakfast with both, local and more western options. Our plane left late at night so the hotel stored our luggage for the day, and we relaxed in the lobby for a couple hours and were given no hassle. The lobby sells some basic snacks and drinks while you are relaxing there.

Everything is ok except the toilet.
Bad smell came out from the bathroom. It was the toilet smell. I called the hotel people to solve the problem then he came up to just sprey perfume. But it was so much concentrated that we can breath. After that we try to get in the bathroom, the smell was still there. we didn’t quite comfortable to stay even though other things were fine but the toilet.

Nice value and staff, but busloads of Chinese.
Good value, nice location for outdoor stuff if you have wheels. Only downside is bus loads of Chinese tourists that are loud and hit the breakfast buffet like locust.

Stay here to receive THREAT EMAILS AFTER!!!
This is the worst hotel in the whole of Chiang Mai and by far the sketchiest place to stay. My girlfriend received threat emails after checking out! Clearly one of the employees of the hotel is a Fraud and a con artist who makes money by sending the guests threat emails after checking out. If you want a nice happy trip, STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!

Quiet and great staff

Dedicated staff with excellent services
I opted to stay at WE valley because it's located near my training venue. The hotel has great service, staff are friendly, nice and helpful. Unfortunately there are stray dogs roaming around the area which makes the surrounding a little unsafe however, staff were friendly to offer shuttling services from WE valley to my training venue daily. During one of the night, the bulb cover in the toilet actually fell off, other than that, the room is largely comfortable and well maintained. I love the mountain view and the beautiful sunrise I got to see. Staff services were memorable as they are warmth and dedicated. Ever ready to serve their guests! :)

Nice business-like hotel away from the hussle...
Quiet surroundings. The shuttle service provided was good. Free use of their bicycles was a pleasant surprise. I love the bed. The block-out curtains don't work well with the type of railings they used to hang them. The instant water heater doesn't supply well heated water (pressure was good though). I wished they provided rubber slippers for use in the showers. Apart from these, the room was wonderful, breakfast was adequate and the staff friendly. Wifi connectivity was good. Faced difficulty with some drivers who aren't familiar with the location.

So difficult to check-in
Wanted to book for 7 guests - wrote to guest relations, never had a reply - so booked myself. They took ages to find the bookings on check in despite me listing every guest individually, then when I checked in the last 1 they couldn't match the Expedia confirmation on my phone to the already printed confirmation sitting in front of them. Rooms were clean and nice, and breakfast good. Then came the "free shuttle" ... yes, it goes to the airport twice a day, 11am & 2pm ... which is not much fun if your flight is nowhere near these times. But yet they were happy to take us there for 50 baht a head... so thats not really free, is it ? The only other moan is the number of Chinese guests (two VIP busloads) that were booked in at the same time as us... and while its pot luck who stays with you, the level of noise in the lobby at times, was extremely intrusive.... OK, not the hotels fault, but be aware these huge tours do use this place.

Affordable and friendly hotel
Even though some staff do not speak English, they have been very helpful. They tried their best to arrange airport shuttle service to match our flights inbound and outbound. I also enjoyed the free use of bicycle to explore the quiet and lovely neighbourhood.

A Home in the Valley
In search for a laid back place to end our Thailand tour, we chose Chang Mai and trace back the history of Lanna and explore the mountainous area of the North. We Valley has the facilities I look for in the hotels I've booked for this tour : FREE : WiFi, Airport Shuttle, Shuttle to Old City, Breakfast, Bicycles,and also Free flowing coffee (Nescafe Alegria) The bonus: the mountain view room, a hands-on manager NIM to make you feel most welcome and a cozy lobby where you can hang-out. Location may be an issue if you're not out to explore the place, but the hotel provides a drop-off and pick-up to Old City and Chiang Mai Zoo. The drivers are on time and will make sure you're where you want to be. Also, they have the best Authentic Lanna restaurants around the hotel and everything is just a bike ride away. Few kilometers from the hotel. The bed is so comfortable, we overslept on our first day! Room is clean, air-conditioned and smells good too. Nim, keep up the good work. As what you said We Valley is a home away from our home. We'll be back again. Thank a million to you and your wonderful team.

Hotel wi-fi is not working so I had to connect using my own data plan. Besides the bread and butter, all else was just bad. Room was pretty small. On the other hand, being a new hotel, sheets are clean and mattress was firm.

In Summery: ANTS, COBWEBS, SPIDERS. The location is in the boonies and the streets are not well lit. There are dogs everywhere and the few restaurants that are nearby are all Thai only speaking places. The staff don't speak English. There were maybe two that was a little near proficiency, but not enough to make your stay any better. I had to check out and move to a different hotel. When I did, ants were crawling out of my things! STUPID ANTS FROM THE HOTEL GOT INTO MY BAGS. Their breakfast is subpar. They're trying, but they need to try harder on the fresh foods, because all the fruits and veggies were COVERED IN FRUIT FLIES. Lost my appetite real quick. I don't know why people gave this place high reviews. Perhaps it was their first stay in Chiangmai, because there are many better places than We Valley Hotel. It's cramped. The pictures look nice, sure, but I promise, you're going to lose trust in the photos posted for hotels in the future when you see the difference compared to the real thing. Good luck if you don't take this advice: Reconsider.

Nim the manager was increcibly friendly and accomodating. We LOVED HER! We had a very comfortable stay at WE Valley, and the breakfast was good. The only minor negative is it's a short cab ride away from the Old City, but they provided a one way shuttle to town.

Nice hotel 10 minutes from Chiangma
The rooms were very clean and nice. The staff helped set-up tours around Chiang-mai. The hotel is a bit far from "Old town" chiangmai but there are vans from the staff that take you downtown (2-3 times per day). Otherwise, it is about 150B per way ($5). However, the quality of the rooms and helpfulness of the staff ensured a 5* rating.

Great Hotel!
We really enjoyed the room and hotel. It was very clean, modern, and the bed was comfy. The staff was very friendly and professional. The location is a little out of the city, so you should either take advantage of free shuttle into city or they can call a taxi for a surcharge. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay at we valley, they picked me up from the airport an dropped me off at the coach station when I was ending my stay there, very helpful staff, lovely hotel an all in all it was a bargain! 2 downfalls are no pool or gym and the location as it's a bit out the way of busy chaing Mai!

We Valley friendly and clean.
We Valley was clean friendly with Thai restaurants close by serving excellent meals. Front counter staff spoke English well other staff very friendly with limited vocab. The hotel has a courtesy shuttle service which ran on demand which we accessed frequently this services finishes about 6pm, which means hard bartering for a tuk tuk if you are in town 200 baht should get u back.
