Hotel has an espectacular view, good restaurant, an amazing staff. The only area to improve is that they need to be attentive to the details. For example: room walls with poor paint, spider webs on roofs and corners, some floor boars were loose or broken, sink pipeline with tape and others details.

The property is beautiful and so well mantained. We stayed at the quadruple lagoon view room and the view was to die for. My dad took a kayak out in the sunrise and was so happy about it. The only room for improvement I saw was that drinks service was a bit slow if you were hanging out at the lagoon since the bar is all the way in the lobby. There were some other guests who were a bit disruptive to the whole peaceful mood of the hotel but it was not the hotel's fault at all. We also had lunch at the restaurant and we were pleasently surprised as the food was really good. Would definitely stay here again!

La comida muy rica y el personal muy atento solo que le falta modernizar las habitaciones y que fumiguen habían muchos insectos y lagartijas, le faltó esa luz afuera en la terraza / balcón es muy buena opción solo hay que hacer más limpieza y modernizarse

Me volvería a hospedar mil veces mas, el acceso a la orilla de la Laguna es fantástico, aunque demoraron un poco en la entrega de la habitación, vale mucho la pena, sin embargo si no tienes vehículo propio quizá se complique un poco tu transportación

An AMAZING place in Bacalar to relax!!! New, clean, comfortable, relaxing, beautiful! Little details are needed such as a little closet to place our luggage, but other then that, everything else was PERFECT!

Hotel Xcabal was amazing! From the moment we arrived they were very attentive and friendly. We only had one small issue during our stay but the hostess took care of it immediately. Then on the morning we checked out, we came out to a flat tire on our car. The staff changed the tire for us very quickly (and for free) and then recommended a local tire place nearby to get the tire patched. Overall our experience was amazing here. The property is beautiful. The rooms are clean and gorgeous. The deck attached to the room and the free kayaks are a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
