"This is the only time I've ever checked out of a hotel before staying the night. The place was falling apart, the wall was held together by duct tape, smelled like cigarettes and mildew, no smoke detectors, it was filthy and full of roaches. When I laid down to sleep and turned off the lights, I felt something in the sheets. The bed was full of roaches, and something bit me. I checked out and went somewhere else for the night. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The House is beautiful and filled with memorabilia of great artists from the jazz and blues fields. The area is very quiet and picturesque. I look forward to my next trip up to the Chester, SC area. I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast!"
