"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It is immaculate, tastefully decorated, in excellent condition and well-stocked. The views onto the marsh from the living room and upstairs bedroom are spectacular. The location is peaceful. Our host, Barbie, was warm, welcoming, accommodating and communicative. The beach at Fripp is gorgeous and the vibe on the island is friendly."

"It was slightly smaller than expected. Not much room to move inside. They view is absolutely beautiful. It is back off the road a ways, and a very bumpy dirt road to get to it, but we did enjoy it. Works well for just a one night stay."

With 7 people staying in the house this made it very inconvenient.Screened porches had torn screens, and screens falling down.Oven would not hold temperature, so it was very hard to make anything.Outlets in Master Bath did not work.Carpet on stairs to upper level was disgusting. It was full of paint stains, and other unknown stains."

"Location was fantastic with really great views of the marsh. Very quiet. Home kitchen was fairly well equipped. Overall the home is very dated and needs some love, but was manageable. The beds were the deal breaker. The absolute hardest, cheap mattresses ever. I get it, it’s a rental, but come on. They were beyond firm, especially the master bed. It was so bad that we departed a day early. "

"Terrific stay! The cottage is perfect for a couple looking for a getaway to Hunting Island State Park -- and the outbuildings are great for charging an EV (110 or 220V!). We'll be back when we visit again!"
