About this property
Quiet Island Cottage-fishing/shelling/beaching/2 kayaks included
- Ida-way Cottage, located in the sleepy, fishing village of Cherokee Sound on the island of Abaco. Slow and tranquil, a great place to unwind and escape. A few minutes walk to the iconic Long Dock, beautiful beaches for swimming and shelling, bonefishing flats for the fly fishing enthusiast. Two kayaks included, 235lb max weight. BBQ grill and beach chairs. Separate office space for great workaction spot. Within walking distance, grocery store, shell museum, harbour and gas station. Some local take away food options, info available on request. We are a 40min drive south of Marsh Harbour (airport, ferries to outer cays, large grocery store and liquor store.) 10min drive to Pete's Pub & Gallery. Remote area. Rental car advised. We do not accept rentals over 14 days. Security camera at pergola entrance armed only for guests arrival and departure to monitor check in and check out when host is unavailable.
