This is a beautiful property! You can feel the history, it had me time traveling as I sunk into beachy stories I imagined while staying here. A wonderful place to make memories with the family 🤗 and only a 7 min drive to the Cape Charles beach! I would absolutely stay here again, honestly- I would live here if I could!!

The stay at the house was great! It’s in a fantastic location that is pretty much 10 minutes away from anything. It is pet friendly which is a huge plus since we love to travel with our dogs and they also enjoyed it! The owners of the house made sure to have everything clean and litterally the best bath towels! The only downside was that the grass was a little too tall for our liking but the house itself was perfect for our trip.
This property isn't fit to rent until improvements are made in the bathrooms and kitchen. They need completely gutted and made safe. There is also severely outdated food in the kitchen (some over 10 years old). A horrible old, wet, musty smell is throughout the house and greets you when you walk in.
There is a lot potential in the property and we loved the closeness to everything! There was lots of space, but it needs a significant amount of work to get it to a safe, cozy, and functional condition. We understand it is an old house, which we love, but it can't have squishy bathroom floors and questions of "who knows what" rotting and growing underneath the vynl. Also the mismatch of used furniture isn't charming and there isn't a single thing on the walls. It was a dissapointment to what the pictures show.
