My stay at Lemon Tree Shimona was very good. The property is nice and well maintained. The people and their service is excellent. Everyone's very courteous and will go out of way to make your stay comfortable.The food too was very good! Perfect for a business trip stay as well as leisure trip with your family.

Business Stay
Close to the Chennai Trade Center made this my hotel of choice. Clean and pleasant hotel. Was happily surprised to see the size of room and bathroom. Not a match-box size. Well priced. Comfortable bed. Walking distance to CTC although not the cleanest neighborhood but convenience was key. Used the business center even though I had Free Wifi in my room. Food is good. I was there for business and for only 2 nights. I was pleasantly surprised as I was on a budget, and I am a picky traveler.

Convenient location and comfortable stay
I checked in for a night's stay with my wife and daughter. The check in process was smooth but there was an absence of a bell desk and bellhop to help with luggage into the rooms. Rooms are large and smartly furnished. Air conditioning worked well and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Morning buffet breakfast at the Citrus Cafe had a good spread of Indian and continental food. Service was attentive and courteous. Checkout soon after was equally quick and hassle free. Overall a good experience. Recommended.

Good sleep - but not much else on offer
A one night stay after arriving very early morning into Chennai Intl. airport. No problem getting to the hotel, and very near airport. Room was ready and had a very good sleep. Didn't mind that the neighbourhood wasn't very interesting as only wanted a good overnight rest, which I had. Nice new hotel. Modest rooms and lobby, but, for the price, this was acceptable, as, most importantly, it was quiet, very comfortable bed, and clean bathroom. Would use again for an overnight visit coming to or from the airport, but not for a holiday.

We stayed at this hotel as we had a family member admitted in the hospital right opposite. It turned out to be a very pleasant stay with good service and friendly staff. The hotel is filled with items carrying one line jokes and even the restaurant place mats carry jokes on them. It was especially nice as we all really needed a laugh. Makes the experience more pleasant overall. Good food rounds up the stay and the buffet spread was nice and varied.

Inconvinience during check in
We had purchased the room with half board. On checking in the reception staff informed us that half board wasn't included in our reservation. I had to call up hotels.com, to clarify this. The clarification call with the hotel staff took almost 30 min., after which the hotel reception manager said he would take care of it. I would appreciate if the reservation is communicated properly to the hotel staff to avoid such inconvenience to guests.

Additional charges a turnoff
The staff were really nice and the room was great. I booked it for $40, but the additional charges for internet, shuttle to airport, simple Indian breakfast (about $1.50 value) was an additional $40. So there were no real savings over the airport Radisson and I would not have had to sit in traffic for 40 minutes. In short, nice hotel with a great staff, but not a good deal for airport travelers deal.

Good new property. Interior and ambiance was nice and pleasing. Friendly staff. Food at the restaurant was good. Only drawback is free Wi-Fi is limited, chargeable after 30 minutes, make it free 24x7.

It was very comfortable, pleasant to stay.
I had stayed this hotel for 3 days. It was very comfortable, pleasant for staying. As the location is very closed to "Trade Center Chennai", it must be convenient for business person to attend Exhibition. Food is also recommended in restaurant inside hotel. Will stay next time.

快適なビジネスホテル
清潔でビジネスホテルとして問題ないです。バスルームの換気面で多少改善を望みますが、バスタブもありました。午前10時までのアーリーチェックイン、レイトチェックアウトには2時間ごとに追加料金が詳細に決められています。朝食が充実していて、パンケーキがもちもちで美味しかった。ホテル出てすぐ横に雑貨屋や食品店などもあり、歩いてちょっとした買い物もできました。
