Beautifully decorated hotel, with a great service, friendly staff, delicious buffet breakfast. Comfortable, quiet, surrounded with nature, with an easy parking, great pool and spa. Charming view from the balcony. I received a birthday gift which was such a nice surprise! Did not have time to visit the casino, unfortunately.

The property is beautiful and the staff are very attentive. Only downside is the lighting was poor and they don’t allow ironing in the room.

Business investment on the hill with great views. Spa area (free for guests) is nice, Sauna was hot. Breakfast was much low value in my eyes: they are using 2024 self baked rolls (Lidl, Makro?) though Portugal has such a tradition with bakeries. Saving every penny here? Coffee as usual from vending machine under average. Hotel is on top of the hill with evening and morning sun, the area seems to be bit rotten, as some parkings are blocked (there was more potential business expected when they planned the area). I think the rates between 100-130€ for double are by far too much for the isolated town of Chaves close to spanish border. Rooms are from 2007 (planned 2003 so 20 years old design), bit old fashioned dark wooden 4* style. Small alibi flat screen TV (they want you to gamble....) indoor pool is also used by local services (swimming school), could be kept bit more clean (plastic stuff at borders)

Tout était parfait ! Nous avons eu un problème de chauffage et l’équipe a tout mis en œuvre pour résoudre la situation. Finalement nous avons été contraint de changer de chambre ! Celle-ci avait également un problème grave car la porte intérieure était cassé et a failli tomber sur la tête de mon mari! Nous avons signalé à l’accueil pour résoudre cela car cela aurait pu être grave !

No era la primera vez que estaba y nunca defrauda, repetiré de nuevo seguro. Hotel muy tranquilo, no se oye nada en la habitación. Pudimos disfrutar de las 2 piscinas. El desayuno está incluído y eso es un gran punto a favor, además de que hay variedad y todo buenísimo. Muy recomendable

Bom hotel familiar, mas não para férias de verão

Bom hotel com quartos espaçosos e limpos. Bom pequeno almoço, com variedade e opções saborosas, o staff é competente a gerir mesas e disponibilidade. Bom ginásio. Spa e piscinas exterior e interior de dimensões generosas. Muitas espreguiçadeiras disponíveis junto às piscinas. Como aspetos menos positivos saliento dois, em primeiro lugar o restaurante que também funciona como bar de apoio à piscina exterior, mas mal. A carta de snack só está disponível após solicitar ao funcionário. Não está acessível no diretório do hotel, nem se encontra nas mesas do terraço. O Serviço de snack termina sem aviso às 18H30 quando a piscina apenas fecha às 21H. Quem quiser comer e continuar a aproveitar a piscina até à hora de fecho não pode. Não se percebe como um hotel tão atrativo para famílias limita o serviço no único restaurante a buffet com pouca variedade e caro para o que oferece. 32.50€ por pessoa para adultos e maiores de 12 anos só faria sentido se continuasse a servir à carta e não com um buffet limitado. O segundo ponto negativo, são as muitas moscas que abundam junto à piscina exterior. São muitas, persistentes e estragam o descanso a qualquer pessoa, qualquer família. Só dentro da piscina é que não somos picados pelas moscas. Em todo o espaço apenas vimos duas velas de citronela acesas e colocadas em duas mesas do restaurante (!) Portanto, zero medidas corretivas para solucionar ou acalmar a intensidade. Não voltaremos a reservar férias de verão neste hotel, infelizmente.
