Charming and comfortable

The location for Lookout Mountain was the best. We also enjoyed neighborhood walks and the hike/bike trail right out front. The house was perfect. It was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and we were especially thankful for excellent AC since we were there during a heatwave. We loved Ruby Falls and Rock City which were both fun escapes from the heat as well.

Great cottage and perfect area!

This cottage was perfect for our family of four. It was very close to St. Elmo and all the attractions in Chattanooga and Lookout mountain. We had the best spring break getaway! Kitchen was fully stocked and loved having the washer and dryer so we didn’t go home with dirty clothes!

Nice little cottage. The location was 10 minutes from hmy daughter's house. About the same to downtown Chattanooga. We are from Chattanooga originally,so I can say without reservation that this would the ideal location for seeing the sights and sounds in and around Chattown

Labor Day Getaway

The house was the perfect size for our family and the location was great. We were right by Ruby Falls and Rock City and our drive to Cloudland Canyon was gorgeous. Everything was easy too.

Cute and Quiet

Enjoyed our stay. St Elmo is our kind of vibe, lots of people jogging and walking and biking and close to lots of things. Cooked a whole meal here with no problems. The front porch swing was my favorite part. Really well-cleaned interior. Queen bed is soft as other reviews mentioned - not uncomfortable or lumpy just squishy soft - so if you really need a firm mattress you won’t sleep well here.

Great for a Small Family of 4!

We enjoyed our stay at this cute, clean, charming house. The kids loved the bunk beds & games. The kid plates/cups/bowls were a huge plus! Location was super convenient to all the things in Chattanooga. Neighborhood was nice & quiet, felt safe the entire trip. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Little get away

My wife and myself need some decompression time. The little house was great. We had coffee on the back porch in the morning to ease into the day while watching the neighborhood come alive. Quiet, peaceful and enjoyable stay. We will be back.

Cozy Historic House Near Town

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Bungalow mainly for it nearness to the Incline Railroad, Ruby Falls, and Rock City. They are all just a short drive away. The playground that is a few blocks away is fantastic if you have kids. The house is historic, which means the floors may squeak depending on where you walk in the house, but this adds to the charm. The bunk bed was thoroughly enjoyed by our kids. The complimentary coffee and tea were much appreciated:)

Simple, yet perfect!

We loved our stay at your cozy home. I wish our stay was longer, but the home was perfect for our needs! It had everything we needed and then some! I loved the historic neighborhood and proximity to everything. Thank you for your suggestions for local eats! We enjoyed pizza for lunch at Mr. T's and dinner at Mojo Burrito. Both were family friendly and delicious! Thank you for your calls and texts to make sure we arrived safely and if we needed anything. It was much appreciated!

Adorable House & Close to Everything!

The Blue Bungalow was the perfect place for our family (2 kids 5 and under). It was impeccably clean, the house was super charming, and the neighborhood was very safe and walkable. We LOVED walking to the playground with the kids. The house is on a street with a huge bike path and you see people walking/biking along the path throughout the day. Location is extremely convenient -- only 10 minutes to Rock City and Ruby Falls, only a couple minutes to the Incline Railway and cute downtown St. Elmo area, and only 10-15 minutes to downtown. The beds were super soft and comfortable which is so helpful when traveling. The house was cute but also had plenty of space for the four of us. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch swing in the evenings and seeing the lights of the houses on Lookout Mtn. Truly the perfect place to stay with everything you need, down to the local brand bar of soap in the bathroom. Loved the local experience!

Ideal location with warm and friendly owners!

We really enjoyed our stay in St. Elmo. The owners have done a great job with the renovations of this home in this historic area of Chattanooga. It's located on a quiet, one-way street with friendly neighbors. It was a surprise for our daughter to notice some of the local artwork in the home was painted by a fellow art student. We really appreciate the fact that they are supporting others in the area as they refurbish some of the homes (the owner showed us one of their other homes listed which also gives you a feel for his quality workmanship and vision to update older homes in the area). It was well furnished with great internet connection. The location is very close to downtown and the wonderful riverwalk area that is being extended to Lookout Mountain. We thoroughly enjoyed our interaction with the owners and look forward to our next stay in one of their homes. We left feeling like we had made new friends in our brief stay. The one regret we had was that the weather was too cool to enjoy the front porch swing and the deck area. Without hesitation I would highly recommend both the location and whatever home these owners have available for your next visit to Chattanooga. Many thanks to the owners for a nice place to stay!

This home is for you if you want an excellent location to Lookout Mountain, downtown, and hiking northwest of the city. The bungalow was very clean, well appointed with everything we needed, in a quiet, safe area. It speaks volumes that we did not need to contact the property owner a single time!

Great historic house

We loved the charm of the house. My son enjoyed the yard and grass area next to the house. Lots of other families and neighbors out walking. Was a great location. We booked through VRBO and sent a few messages to host and never received a response. When we arrived door code didn’t work. We called a number provided and it’s a rental company. They gave us the code so it was ok. But wish they would check messages through VRBO.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean. We did experience a few hiccups and had a hard time communicating with the owner to get them taken care of. The coffee pot in the unit does not work.
