  • Rustic home nestled in the tree tops overlooking the Tennessee River. Year-round water is perfect for fishermen to enjoy freshwater fishing. The outdoor living spaces include a dock on the river, a pavilion that overlooks the river, a screened porch outside the ground level, & a wrap-around deck outside the den and master bedroom. The back of home faces the river & the sunset view is breathtaking. Property sits at Buoy Mile Marker 495 on the Tennessee River with easy access to the Grasshopper Creek boat ramp.

Spacious and welcoming, this “retreat” was perfect for our family’s time near Dayton. The plentiful deck areas made for pleasant outdoor time. The kitchen had most of what one needs to prepare meals and all appliances worked properly. We really enjoyed our stay!

This was our 2nd year visiting and it is still a great family friendly place. We love the deck and enjoyed fishing and swimming with the kids. Our hostess was very nice and accommodating. We love the gift basket, only place we been to that does that!

This property is very nice. The owner greets with a special package of items from the local area. The beds are overly soft for my tastes, but it was manageable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view of the water.

Fisherman’s Retreat was a TREAT!!!!!

We hosted an early Thanksgiving family reunion. It was a perfect place…the parking ample, amenities excellent, kitchen fully equipped, beds cozy, fireplace warm and inviting, wonderful welcome basket, and the host was quick to answer our few texts. We plan to return to this spacious home!!!!

We hosted a family reunion! It was everything we hoped for! Kids loved the lake, boating and fishing! The accommodations were perfect! There was more than enough space for our large group cookouts, gathering on the decks to watch the sunsets, and storytelling in the living room space. Beverly is a great host! Communication A!!! Tennessee River Getaway
