Martha tiny cabin at Lookout close to downtown
Summary:
Only 5 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, Martha offers a private hot tub cabana, a furnished back deck, a covered front deck with a charcoal grill, and a shared fire pit. It can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests, with a bedroom and a sleeping loft.
The Space:
Wauhatchie Woodlands is a family-owned collection of quaint, tiny-home, rustic-comfort log cabins on a 14-acre wooded property surrounded by National Park land. This natural setting is nested less than a mile from the city with quick access to downtown Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and the surrounding area.
Named after Frank's beloved late aunt, Martha is equipped with everything you could ever need to make the most of your time in Chattanooga.
Martha is one of our delightful rustic cabins. During your stay, you’ll enjoy an incredibly memorable, charming space surrounded by nature, with a furnished back deck, covered front with charcoal grill, shared fire pit.
Martha can comfortably sleep up to 4 guests between the main bedroom and sleeping loft. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, smart TV, private washer dryer combo, & more.
Starting from the back, you’ll find the fully furnished deck, surrounded by decades-old trees. Just off the deck is the shared fire pit and picnic pavilion, perfect for fireside chats and evening s'mores. Firewood can be purchased on-property.
Inside, the main bedroom hosts a queen bed, closets for hanging clothes, lots of drawer storage, and a Smart TV. Just outside the bedroom is your dedicated washer and dryer combo unit on one side and the full bathroom with bathtub on the other.
A step further we enter the kitchen, fully stocked for cooking/dining with an electric range, microwave, stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and all the dishes you need to whip up a vacation feast. The living room and kitchen feature an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings with the main TV across from the sofa.
Up the staircase is the sleeping loft equipped with two twin beds. Kids will love having their own space. For grownups, clearance in the loft is low, just 4' - it’s perfect for sleeping, just watch your head when you get up.
The cabin’s covered front porch with dining set is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee, or grilling out on your dedicated charcoal grill (guests must provide their own charcoal).

Cabin was just as described. A perfect place for my son and I. The location was great, we enjoyed the hot tub, beds were comfortable. Can’t say enough good things.
Loved the location of the cabin! Central to everything in Chattanooga. The cabin itself was lovely and very clean. We had issues with the tub but they were very efficient in keeping touch with us and getting it back to a bearable level. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Would love to stay again in our next visit!
My little family and I had a great vacation in this cabin in the woods! We loved the hot tub and how close the cabin was to everything. I would love to come back to stay again!
We stayed in the Martha cabin and really enjoyed how secluded we felt even though we were only a short drive away from downtown. Everything was clean and cozy!
Clean, comfortable, cute, cabin, Chattanooga. Will be booking again. Excited to see they have other properties in the area as well as Asheville and Utah. If all properties are kept to this standard this will be our new go-to vacation spot.

Great cabin, everything we needed and more. Our 10 year old lived the loft!
Second time we have stayed at the property! Feels like you are far away in the woods, but you are near town with a Publix! Traveled to raccoon mountain this year and it was great! Highly recommend to stay here.
Exactly as advertised. No surprises. Highly recommended.
One observation: perhaps keeping with the tiny theme, the bath towels were more suitable for tiny people.
This place is the perfect home-away-from-home! Somehow you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere and yet you're just a few minutes away from everything. The cabin was the perfect size and had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place.
We had a great time and enjoyed the tiny home and camp like experience. Our kids were comfortable, the house is gorgeous. Will definitely return if the opportunity arises.
This was the perfect place for a weekend stay for my nephew's high school graduation in Chattanooga. Super close to Ruby Falls and to Chattanooga, yet nestled in the woods. We will be back!
