"Good location, friendly staff who went out of their way to help. Due to flight delays we arrived after the reception desk was closed but upon phoning the emergency number the manager allowed access to the property and our room"

"We were so looking forward to a 1 night stay here as part of our honeymoon. As regular travellers to Montreux we were excited to finally try Suisse Majestic but were bitterly disappointed. Paid for a deluxe lake view room. The room itself was ok, but the bathroom was very poor and cramped. The shower head didnt stay up, and access was limited. The "balcony" was tiny - very disappointing. Our main gripe was the temperature of the room which was set at 27 degrees - way too hot! We couldnt adjust this as this is "hotel policy". The phone in the room didnt work, so we tripped down to reception. Advised to open the door. This didnt have much effect so ended up with the door open ALL night - not much sleep with outside noise from traffic and friday night revellers. Weed smells started drifting in from about 6am, so we gave up. Definitely wouldnt return."
