"Super séjour.
la chambre ,la propreté, la situation géographique et surtout le personnel au TOP.
Parfait.
Petit bemol odeur de vinaigre après le passage des femmes de ménage (très sympathiques)"
"For the price I think this was an absolute steal! The room was very spacious and I think I was upgraded as I got a balcony.
Location couldn’t be better, just a few moments walk to the lake.
Helpful and friendly staff."
"Good location close to the city center, quiet, very clean and well maintained hotel. Just one thing: in case of heat wave, make sure you are given a room with AC..."
Riviera – Hotel, Restaurant & Spa (formerly Golden Tulip Aix les Bains)
8/10 Good
"We stayed here for two nights with our 9 year old daughter. The hotel, staff and room was immaculate and very comfortable. The design of the room was beautiful and the windows opened on to a beautiful park - just lovely. Two things I did not love: The hotel only provided two coffee pods for the coffee maker and the staff was VERY hesitant (extremely resistant) to giving extra - and the limitation of the pools to adults only. The best pools were upstairs and outside and my daughter was not allowed in either - despite the fact that she is well behaved and the staff could have asked us to left had that not been the case - those two things were disappointing."
"This is a 5 star hotel at a very reasonable price. I can't say enough about the amenities. DIning area outside is in a beautiful courtyard, so lovely and quaint but very well maintained and comfortable. Probably the nicest hotel we have stayed in yet on our vacation"
"This Hotel is a Gem! The Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, the beds are comfortable, the property is clean, the breakfast is very complete and tasteful. I had a beautiful experience here, Thank you for all the members of the Staff and special thank you to a girl call Darling at the breakfast she was very helpful, professional and charismatic."
"An absolutely lovely hotel, stunning both inside and out. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. In particular, Camille on reception who greeted us with a warm smile and provided cold water on arrival, which was much needed during a heatwave.
She also gave us lots of useful information about the area, including recommendations for local French restaurants. We chose one and she kindly booked it for us.
The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever had, featuring fresh local produce and an outstanding selection. At €19, it was excellent value.
Our bedroom was quiet, with a very comfortable bed and a modern, clean, and beautiful bathroom. Air conditioning was a real bonus, along with free coffee-making facilities in various areas and cold bottled water available on request from reception.
The gym, jacuzzi, and spa were excellent, and throughout the hotel there were lovely places to sit and relax. We especially enjoyed the covered entrance area with tables and chairs—perfect for watching the world go by.
The location is ideal, right in the historic centre, with shops, cafés, bars, restaurants, and sights all on your doorstep. Parking is just a one-minute walk away.
Everything exceeded our expectations, but above all it was the staff who truly made the experience special from the ladies cleaning, to the restaurant staff and front desk. They were amazing. We will be back!"
