The Inn is adorable & well taken care of. The rooms are clean & unique. The innkeeper Jake is truly kind. The brunch the following morning was delicious. We’d gladly stay again!

If you are looking for a hotel with unique historical rooms, an excellent staff and amenities, I would recommend the Dinsmore. The free breakfast is beyond belief, free parking, and the staff exceeds all expectations. Right across the street from UVA, minutes from Monticello. Plenty of great eateries near by. Although the building is old, the rooms have all the modern amenities and are spotless. I will stay at the Dinsmore whenever in Charlottesville.

We stayed in Room 5, the master bedroom. The room was large with a very large and comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The room was largely original from when it was built and really took us back in time. An excellent brunch was included with many meal options.

I stayed in Room 7 and it was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was well appointed with classic features and a modern bathroom. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even when they weren't onsite. Breakfast at the Farm Bell restaurant was memorable, and I would be a regular if I lived in Charlottesville. Parking was a breeze next door at another hotel and was included in the total room charge. Proximity to the UVA grounds was a plus, and we walked to the stadium for the football game. I will definitely be back, and this will always be my first choice. Thank you!
