Beautiful Property

Bill and his wife have a beautiful place, was an excellent host. We took the kayaks out on the lake, and enjoyed sitting on the floating dock. Beautiful neighborhood to walk around and see the (almost tame) deer!

Beautiful location

Our accommodations were lovely, private, spacious and quiet. Had coffee on the private dock every morning and watched the sun set in the evening with a glass of wine. A compact little kitchenette but had everything we needed. Comfortable bed and very well appointed accommodations.

Comfortable and well-appointed guest apartment in a great location

The guest apartment was comfortable and the beautiful lakeside location made for a great stay. It was very private and had everything needed for a short stay. We didn't use the beach or dock but we did explore the property and it is a great slice of Lake Norman beauty.

Long weekend fishing trip

Prime property in quiet neighborhood near boat landing. Surprised to bring home quite a few fish after the hurricane had just flooded the area. The deer walking along the area were beautiful. Plan to come again.

It was very good. Host was very patience as to our confusion about self check in. He was great to allow the use of the beach for our grandson & his family. My only wish was that he had a coffee pot that used pods.

Quaint, Relaxing Getaway!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and had no issues. Nice, comfy bed, very clean and well kept, and having a smart TV with access to Netflix was a plus. The little beach/dock area is lovely, and we enjoyed floating out on the lake and kayaking. The owners gave us our privacy, and I would have never guessed that they lived right above if I didn’t know. We were able to take in the sunset and enjoy a fire on the beach as well. Great little place to stay for a little couples’ getaway. My husband and I wanted to enjoy a relaxing, kid-free getaway, and this was just that!

Relaxing Getaway

Beautiful lake views, comfy bed, lovely neighborhood! There was a tornado warning as we arrived to a dark room. The owner, Bill, immediately welcomed us and fired up his generator. The area lost power for for a day due to downed power lines.

Luxury on a Budget

Perfect amenities. Kayaking, very peaceful on Lake Norman and the kayaks are right at the dock. Beautifully maintained grounds- your privacy is respected. Very spacious. You must hike the Lake Shore Loop at the State Park (15 mins away) TAKE BUG SPRAY. FYI: Queen bed , regular coffee pot, nice toaster oven and microwave. You may encounter another guest on grounds as there’s a traveling nurse vrbo attached. Owners were great and super friendly.

Peaceful and tranquil rest

We thought it was beautiful area and really enjoyed the main at mall and decor mall because it had such nostalgic items and great food too. The place is comfortable but also felt like a step back in time but comfortable. Some of the snacks were out if code but it was nice they had some available. We did not go on the water at all but mostly because weather was a little cooler and cloudy.
