Dirty home, questionable neighborhood
First, when we arrived to the property the door/key was locked, and we had to wait an hour and 20 minutes for the cleaning lady to come. This which made us late for our previous reservation. Additionally, two sinks, kitchen and master suite didn’t drain which made cooking difficult. Also, this house was not cleaned well. Underneath and in between the couch, was filthy and you could find remnants, trash, around the house that was left by others. I learned this because my Dachshund, Archie, found something under the couch that made him sick, it was then I noticed there was a lot of trash underneath. Traveling with me was four teenage girls, and the house had random strangers, mostly men, constantly walking by and sitting outside, perhaps there is a halfway house on the street. Which would make sense of the Heineken beer bottle found on the back porch. Thankfully we only stayed one day. I shared my concerns with the host. She was polite and extended us a 35 inconvenience fee for the late check in.
