The back of the place was a dumpster (my room was facing that side) the girl at the front desk was rude when I tried to check in and when it was time to check out no one came to the desk, they had a phone number on a piece of paper taped to the window so I called and I was told it was ok to leave, so I wasn't even sure I was properly checked out.

The women at the front desk was amazing! But sadly there is no breakfast provided, thank goodness ihop and waffle house are not to far from this location. We got a non smoking room but the room smelled like smoke and there were things splattered all over the walls and burn marks from smoking in the tub and other areas

Hotel was closed for renovations.
This hotel was reserved Oct. 2017 and was not open for vacancy when I attempted to check in May 3 - May 7. And wasn't informed by Expedia nor the hotel of this issue at all. This really ruined my plans and I would like something to be done to fix this matter.

expedia.com sucks.
This Motel was closed on my arrival. Expedia had sent me multiple reminder messages about my booking and even telling me that there was no need to contact the facility. It was a local event weekend so piratically no other room where available- esp at a decent rate. My wife contacted Expedia and was promised to be refunded within 24 hour- 48 hours later - nothing. I will never use Expedia.com again!

Horrible. I paid for a room in a hotel that was under renovation and was not made aware that I would not be able to stay. I found out they were closed when I read the sign on the front of the door at 10 pm after a 3 hour drive.

Got to the motel I had reserved for 4/6/2018 about 3:34 pm and their was a sign on the door saying closed for remolding. I had to cut my trip short and return home. I missed a day at the Charlotte Auto Fair.

I arrived to find note on door that hotel is closed for renovation!!! Had to search for another place to stay late at night!!! This hotel should have been removed from Expedia!!! Trying to get my money back!!!!!!!

Hotel needs to be closed . It’s under construction. An has been that way for a year . Rooms are not taking care of . Stayed there a few years ago an it was nice then . Now it’s like they don’t care anymore.

The down to earth staff have big hearts.the facilities are wanting and renovation(s) pending. Do not consider some of the rooms right now if you have issues with mold (hall carpet due to a flood) room was non smoking but smelled heavily of tobacco smoke. Got a great deal for pretty clean room with great heating, breakfast, cable tv- close to towns.

This was my first stay at a Microtel Inn. There was no soap in the bathroom. I was going to overlook this since I had soap with me, until I noticed the smoke detector was missing from it's base. Since this was a serious personal safety issue, I notified the desk person of both issues. She responded in a courteous and professional manner, bringing soap and a working smoke detector to the room, although it was not the right size for the base. I told her I expected a rate adjustment in the morning because of the serious nature of these issues. She apparently did contact her manager because I did receive an adjustment to my rate because of these issues.

Booked a suite. Drove 12 hours to have Thanksgiving dinner with family. Checked in and went to our room. Discovered that it was just a room. Not a suite. Went down to the front desk to have this mistake rectified and was told that it was not a mistake, and that the suites were in another section of the hotel, and that section was under renovation. Was too tired to do anything but sleep that night. But, first thing the next morning called Travelocity, and was booked in another, and much better hotel that very day. Maybe I should have known things were not quite right when the reception area had been stripped down to bare concrete. Stayed at a Microtel hotel before, and enjoyed my stay. Sadly, not this time.

So it looks OK from the outside, except for the overflowing trash. Inside it is a disaster. The floor is ripped up in the lobby, the inside of the elevator is scary, smells of must and mold, and half the hotel is closed for repairs. I was told it smelled because of water damage. I have stayed at cheap hotels before and they are gems compared to this place. Bugs in the bathroom, dirty in the room, and scary to say the least. The smell is just horrid. I have owned property with Wyndham and I can't believe their name is attached to this place.

We chose this hotel due to cost and location.
This hotel did not live up to expectations. The ice machine was out. There were not enough towels for all the rooms. The hotel is under renovation and has been for a couple of years. We will not be staying here in the future.

Lobby needs a real floor not concrete checked in almost 4 pm shack in is at 3 room wasn't ready when we got to it put us in a different room. Staff was nice but room need improvements had a microwave no fridge.bedspread and sheets had holes from cigarette burns

We had stayed at one of your hotels in Chattanooga and it was a good value and comfortable.This one is under a lot construction and smelled of cigarettes.They were out of ice as well.The staff was friendly but had no markings or name tags.No phone or hair dryer in the room either

Great price...below average stay but helpful staff
The hotel lobby was completely torn up with huge cracks in the concrete floor. The ceilings had leaks in our hallway with buckets sitting around. The staff was nice and extremely helpful though!!! They tracked down a refrigerator for our room which was a huge help because we were in town for my son's golf tournament for 4 days. The continental breakfast was below average but ok. I had hard boiled eggs and lunchmeat in our frig so I used one of their bagels and made a ham, egg and cheese open faced bagel each morning. The juice machine was out of order the first day but working the next day and the ice machine was our of order the entire stay which would have been useful for our sporting event. They seemed to have a towel shortage. No bath mat was given until I asked for one which I got after 2 days. No hand towels ever and only 2 towels which I used one as a bath mat till I received it. Then when I asked for more towels they had to check other rooms. In the morning I received 2 more towels which looked more like rags but they did the job. Plus, they were out of conditioner (but plenty of shampoo.) I purchased my own conditioner to use during my stay.

You don't have a business center and this feature is the reason I paid on line for a room. I could not access or deliver needed business documents because there was no business center. False advertisement

Nice staff :-) ; not so so nice accommodations!
Hotel reportedly flooded in Jan 2017; affected area appropriately walled off, lobby area carpet and lower drywall removed. It was raining on day of check in and the lobby area was leaking. Deciding to look past the disaster of the lobby and checked in. 1st room appeared to have mole spores on walls and on shower curtain and I moved to another room. 2nd room lacked cleanliness (dingy sheets, spots on bed, hair on pillows). No need to look further! Staff (young lady) was very pleasant and tried her best to accommodate, but the options were not suitable. Best part of this experience was talking to the staff!!

Low price to stay out of the rain
We were in town for an event at Charlotte Motor Speedway and weren't planning to spend much time in the room, so price and location were the primary factors in our choice. The motel is undergoing a remodeling and it shows - no carpet in the lobby, ice machine was not working, continental breakfast was non-existent. It was a roof over our heads fifteen minutes from the track at a fairly low price, however, and that's all we were looking for.

This hotel was horrible. they have severe water damage that's been damaged since January. The whole place has mildew and mold everywhere. there's no flooring in the front office and the carpet is wet on the first floor. it was just horrible.

We booked this place for the price and location. We knew it wouldn't be the Ritz Carlton but figured it would be fine for a short stay. All of the other comments regarding the forgotten construction of the front lobby weren't a concern for us. What was a concern was that there was some type of leak on the first floor that left three rooms inhabitable according to their own staff and because they were overbooked, they put us there anyway. The smell from the flood and I'm guessing mold, grew worse by the day. We couldn't afford to go elsewhere and we were told there were no other rooms. Do not allow them to put you in room 122. It will make you sick.

The hotel is undergoing an extensive restoration and the staff tried to make the best of the situation. Couldn't have asked any more of them. The ownership should have had a better plan.

The only thing great about this place was the people at the front desk. they were nice and helpful but...the rooms were terrible!!! when you first walk in, you feel like you're walking into a rundown hotel. Plus, you can smell weed on almost every floor!!!!

I refused to stay once I saw the room. It was filty with stains on all the bedding. The bed skirts where just plain dirty. The elevator had a strong smell of marijuana. The curtains in the room were falling down and ripped. The front desk clerk stated she would send an email to me stating there would be no charge, I have yet to receive it.

Nightstand was dirty. Cigarette marks on the tub. Hole in the wall where the door handle went through. When checking out, the girl at the front desk.. when she finally got there...seemed to be annoyed to have to check me out. Also, the hotel lobby was in shambles due to a recent sprinkler system malfunction but I won't hold that against them because that was beyond there control. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Got there. All carpet in 1st floor was gone due to broken pipes water damage... 1/2 The rooms were boarded off ...A complete wing on 1st and second floor anyway... No refrigerator. Small tv for my 89 yr old father to view as he stayed in room while I was out. DON'T BUY CHINESE AT SOUTH CHINA RESTAURANT!! THERE was a menu flyer on table.. WORST CHINESE EVER HAD..!! YUK..!! My wife would never have stayed there, but hey, we're 2 dudes.... cheap.

This hotel was nasty. They said they were remodeling and had flooded recently but the building permit posted was from 1-13-17. Our room and bathroom was not clean, the bed was not comfortable and the pillows were horrible and the old curtains had holes in them. The bathroom was dirty as well. I tooks some pictures that I would be happy to send to you. Travelosity needs to know about the condition of this hotel. If it really under a remodel customers should be told this when they make a reservation.

Dirty room..diry water...it is an insult that such a terrible hotel existed in the US
