"Last Cove Lodge" A totally reconstructed 1950's fishing cabin. Very unique

This property is located just 13 minutes to downtown and Panthers Stadium, 6 minutes to The White Water Center, and 7 minutes to historic downtown Belmont.
We are a $6 Uber ride from the airport. A huge shopping outlet is 10 minutes away

The place started as a 1 room log cabin that was added to many times over the years. In 2021 we stripped the place to its bones and updated everything while keeping what was cool about the place. We think the result is a cabin with all the character you could want and all the modern features of a true luxury vacation venue. You should take the time to walk the miracle mile. A street that is lined with trees that canopy the road and views of the lake that are just beautiful. You can spend evenings by the rock fire pit with a waterfall feature or on the swing porch that is lake front. You may want to relax in the copper lined bubble infused soaking tub or the incredible steam shower. This home oozes luxury and romance! We have. very nice luxury Pontoon available at your dock at discounted rate for guests.

Please note; if anyone in your party has mobility issues you will want to be careful considering this place. The house is positioned on a sloping lot. The front steps were constructed with boulders, there are spiral stirs to the lower level and 34 steps down to the lake.

Absolutely stunning home!

This home has it all! Plenty of space, fully stocked kitchen, jetted tub, steam shower! Beautifully decorated, perfect location and awesome views. The owner is fantastic. You also have the opportunity to rent his pontoon boat. This is one of the best places we have ever renred and will be back!

This Lodge is just wonderful all the way around! Super clean, open layout, very comfortable and well equipped with amenities. It has a beautiful view over the lake where you have multiple options to sit outside and enjoy it all. From a porch right outside the dining area, to comfy lower-level porch with couch swings or just sit dock side. Host ensures you have everything you need, is very gracious and prompt to answer. Highly recommend the Last Cove Lodge!

Thanksgiving holiday

“Last Cove Lodge” provided the most beautiful week for our family Thanksgiving. We were most excited to arrive to a cozy home decorated for the holidays with Christmas lights and a Christmas tree! The gourmet kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to provide a holiday meal! We highly recommend this property and hope to return soon!

Wonderful!!

We have a wonderful stay at Last Cove Lodge. It was tucked away from all of the busyness, amd so peaceful. It was exactly like the pictures as well!! Clean, well stocked, very comfortable beds. Right on the lake! Bob was available and an excellent host. He was there when we needed him but not intrusive. We would absolutley stay again!

Weekend Getaway

This is our third time staying at the Last Cove Lodge and we had another great weekend. The lodge is clean, well appointed, and has a lovely view of the lake. Communication with the host was excellent. We had fantastic weather and thoroughly enjoyed the long weekend.

Peaceful Stay

We stayed here for a week while our home was under construction. Bob made sure we had everything we needed! We loved waking up and seeing the water, grabbing coffee and drinking it on the porch - to walking the dogs throughout the neighborhood. Loved every bit!

Family Get Together

My family gathered at Lake Wylie for a family friends wedding. We enjoyed Charlotte and the lake. The home was in a perfect location near airport, close to Charlotte and the wedding venue. Each bedroom had an incredible view of the lake. The spacious kitchen provided an ideal spot to make the wedding cake.

Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay at the "Last Cove Lodge!" The house was spotless, well-appointed, and beautifully decorated. The owner was helpful and answered all of our questions regarding the area. The location was quite relaxing and had lovely views of the cove. We also rented the pontoon boat and had a great time out on the water. Everyone in our group loved this property!

Amazing Holiday Home!

We stayed between Christmas and New Year, while visiting relatives in nearby South Carolina. The home is just lovely. Beautiful views from every room. Inspirational kitchen and a great media/movie night room. Downtown Belmont is adorable, and the home is close to CLT. Bob was fantastic to work with.

Long weekend stay

The property is beautiful, well appointed, clean and easy to find. The host was very communicative even rescheduling my original reservation when my husband had to have surgery to a later date for me. The only downside was the property listed a hot tub as an amenity and what the owners considered the hot tub is actually the copper bathtub in the primary bathroom that has jets. I personally do not consider this a hot tub and was looking forward to sitting outside in a hot tub overlooking the lake. Otherwise a great and comfortable stay.

Excellent place!!

This rental house was amazing! The pics online do not do it justice. The ease of renting, the owner Bob was so kind and very accommodating. The place was so clean and inviting, plenty of room to roam around and a fully equipped kitchen with an outdoor grill, what more could you ask for. The amenities this house had to offer was just amazing. If we are in NC again we will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Condo in a great location

Fred and Jean greeted us at their Condo overlooking the water the moment we arrived into Charlottetown. Their condo is immaculately clean and has everything a family could require when spending time in PEI. The heated underground parking was a treat as we visited during the Canada Winter Games in early March. Looking forward to staying again when we head back for a summer holiday experience.

The house was as advertised and the homeowners have done a wonderful job of renovations. Nice areas close by walking and good restaurants. We loved the ability to bring our dogs although they did have to learn to go down a spiral staircase which was a bit tricky. The one day we did use the dock area we noticed an unpleasant odor and the neighbor next door definitely was not welcoming to renters but beyond that we would stay here again!

Gorgeous house

This is a luxury house with much more amenities than listed. The decoration, features and appliances are very top quality. The view is amazing and the location very convenient- only 20min from Charlotte. The owner was very responsive. We spent 5 days here and we were 8 adultes at one point in time and we’re very confortable. We will definitely come back

Family Getaway

Our family of 7 had the best time at Last Cove Lodge! The cabin is absolutely stunning both inside and outside and very clean and comfortable. Every room has an amazing view of the lake, especially the kitchen and dining area! The kitchen is fully stocked, as are the bathrooms - the hosts haven't missed a thing. The porch swings with the fans are a special added touch and a great place for morning coffee, afternoon naps or reading and evening wine. We rented the boat and we highly recommend that - the lake is so calm, beautiful and fun to find a cove for floating. We also took a boat ride to dinner at Papa Docks and that was great. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. It is a place we would definitely stay again!

Second visit.

This was our second time staying in 2022 and let me tell you, it was even better the second time around. We stayed for New Year's. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, hot cider ready to go the moment we walked in. This is truly a home, away from home. All you need to bring is your clothes. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, every corner of the house, is fully stocked with everything you can possibly need and more. The owner promptly answers any questions and/or concerns and is always available. Needless to say, we will be booking it again in 2023!
