Lakefront Retreat, new boathouse, gazebo on deep water

Cozy two bedroom, newly remodeled 1960s-style single-wide mobile home on Lake Norman. Beautiful views from the large covered deck overlooking wide cove on the lake. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the view!

Brand new gazebo and boathouse if you wish to bring a boat or jetskis. 2 kayaks, 2 stand-up paddleboards and noodles, free with rental. Horseshoe pit in front yard, firepit in backyard next to lake. Water basketball hoop attached to dock. Enjoy a game of horse on the lake or play a game of corn hole by the lake. Basketball and corn hole boards supplied.

2 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full) and pullout couch bed sleeps 6 total. TV, cable, and wi-fi available. 5 minutes from Food Lion grocery store, Walgreens, and restaurants. 10 minute drive to Target, Wal Mart, movie theater, bowling alley, 2 public golf courses, and I-77. 30 minutes from Charlotte.

Absolutely NO PARTIES permitted. This is a residential neighborhood, and we are friends with the neighbors. They will call us and the police if there are excess guests on the property at any time of the day or night. Only guests of the house are permitted up to a total of six. Anyone violating these rules will be required to leave immediately with no refund.

Please note home does not have washer, dryer or dishwasher.

We had a fantastic stay. The lake is so beautiful and peaceful. We visited in March so a little cold to go in but will definitely come back. The property was clean and very comfortable. Very grateful for an amazing vacation!

A short stay

We stayed a few days and had a peaceful time! My husband and kids enjoyed the dock and fishing! The kids also loved the kayaks! We enjoyed fires and the special treats that were left!

Small house, excellent back yard.

Great place for a fishing trip. Only changes would be new stove, smaller bed frame that fits matress in guest room. Not a must but screened in back porch. Boat dock was 5 star. Plenty of parking room. House was well stocked. We had a great time.

Lake Norman rental

The property was well kept and in a quiet neighborhood. The backyard had everything that was needed and has an excellent boat dock. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to spend time at the lake.

Property is exactly as described. Awesome dock and gazebo on the water. Great view, quiet neighborhood and convenient to most everything. Met the host, great guy, cares about his guests. Will book again when down at the Lake with less than 6 of us!!!

Can’t complain at all

I would recommend this place to anyone if they wanted somewhere to get away and relax. The place itself was very clean and had just about everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood was relaxing and chill. I can see myself booking this place again in the future.

Great place for boaters

If you're looking for a quiet place on the lake, and a spot to tie up you're boat this is it. The property is cozy and nostalgic. Paddle boards and kayaks are provided and the boat house and over water gazebo are perfect for the watersports fan. The host was awesome. He worked with me on a last minute request to stay another day and was always there if l needed anything. Will definitely make this place one of my regular stays.

Quiet retreat

We loved the location and being able to stay on Lake Norman for a reasonable price. It was nestled back in the woods, but close to anything you might need. I loved having my tea next to the lake under the gazebo. The owner was up front about the accommodations. He definitely said that the mobile home was older but updated so it didn’t have a dishwasher. But Vrbo needs to update it’s listing to show there is no dishwasher. I would stay again.

Wonderful, peaceful vacation

My husband and i wanted to stay somewhere relaxing and quiet when my mom came to visit us. This home away from home on the lake was exactly what we wanted and than some. We liked the cozy feeling of the house and how well kept it is. The dock was great for fishing, and we were thankful for the kayaks that we could float around in. Mom loved the deck! She had coffee there every morning and enjoyed the view immensely. Thank you, Larry, for providing such a great lake house retreat! Truly a gem of a place and pleasure to get to stay there for awhile. Jasmine and Jonathan

Weekend getaway

The house is an older trailer as described. I gave a 4 on cleanliness because there were spider webs everywhere. I was knocking them down as I was walking down the hallway in the dark. :( Master bed is HORRIBLE, however, the guest bedroom bed was ok. The water smells like rust and there isn’t a light over the shower in the bathroom. The neighborhood is fabulous and the outside is fantastic. The dock is amazing and we had a great time sitting down by the lake on our trip.

Beautiful setting

My husband and I and our adult son stayed for a week while visiting our son and wife nearby. We have stayed multiple times at the lake over the past 5 years. This setting was gorgeous with the new dock and an abundance of lake toys. We really enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit after a late afternoon swim. Unfortunately, rental prices have skyrocketed. This was affordable but the house is old and needs replaced since updating is not a likely option. The online listing was accurate, so we were not surprised by the condition. There were plenty of dishes, cleaning supplies, and linens. Since the weather was mild at night, we would have liked to have the windows open instead of using the air-conditioning, but there were no screens in the windows. Larry was very helpful and kind.

Wonderful site for outdoor fun! Our favorite features were the two large decks on the house and dock. We enjoyed the fire pit, kayaks, and paddle boards. Beautiful view, quiet and peaceful. The home is older but clean and well kept. Check-in and check-out were simple and easy. We would come back!

Much needed break!

Peaceful little place nestled in a very nice neighborhood, right on the water. Huge back deck overlooking Lake Norman. A simple drive to food and shopping. Host goes above and beyond to ensure you have the things most likely forgotten when packing! Hope to be able to book this place many more times in the future!
