We've maintained the character of this historic 1920's building, while completely updating and renovating the interior. This second floor condo has large double-hung windows that let in an abundance of light in all the rooms, along with a sunroom featuring floor to ceiling windows. Additionally, the original refinished hardwoods, bathroom tile, graceful arched doorways and two-panel doors provide the charm so often absent in new construction.

The kitchen features a gourmet gas range, a convection oven, a refrigerator with an ice maker, a dishwasher, and a stackable washer and dryer. Lovely Apartment in a Delightful Neighborhood - Perfect

We loved our stay. The location was perfect and we could easily walk to several restaurants and the grocery within a mile radius. The porch was perfect for morning coffee and tea and the apartment was wonderfully furnished.

Great experience. Place was super nice and close to everything. They went out of their way to make everything awesome. The wine and scotch were totally clutch on top of everything else. Hopefully I'll be given a reason to come back next year.

Old South Refuge

The property is conveniently situated about ten minutes from downtown Charlotte. It is spacious and well appointed, presenting a mix of urban chic with old southern charm. The back, screened-in porch was by far my favorite place. It rained and I was out there for hours, reading and napping. I would recommend the property without hesitation.

Loved Myers Park!!

My photography team was out in North Carolina on business, there were 5 of us total and we all loved the place! We arrived to chilled wine, a tray of snacks and goodies and limes ready to be sliced for cocktails. Even a carton of half and half was stocked in the fridge for our morning coffee, no one ever thinks of that! :) The hosts are incredibly accommodating and sweet. The building was tucked away off the street, and the parking lot in the back was convenient for us with all of our gear. Trader joes was right nearby so we were able to make nice breakfasts and dinners when we didn't want to venture out. Absolutely love the decor, love the sun room and the deck, the comfortable beds...everything was perfect! Highly recommend the place, next time I'm in town I will stay there or one of Jim's other properties. - Mel & Co. team

Above and Beyond!

We absolutely loved this Myers Park apartment, and cannot say enough good things about our stay! The host was extremely accomodating and helpful, and the ease of communication was exceptional. The extra touches left in the apartment for our stay were above and beyond anything we've ever experienced in any of the other VRBO properties in which we've stayed. The fixings for an easy but tasty dinner as well as a light breakfast were in the apartment when we arrived, as well as a few options should we have decided we'd like a cocktail or glass of wine. The kitchen was well appointed with dishes, cutlery, cookware, etc. The furnishings were very comfortable and the apartment looked exactly as depicted in the photos online. We LOVED the large couch(es)! The neighborhood was lovely (aside from the unfortunate construction that was going on on the street in front of the building, which is obviously not the host's fault or under their control), and central to everywhere we wanted to go in and around Charlotte. Checkin and Checkout were simple and non-contact, and the host even accomodated an early checkin request, which started our trip off beautifully! The only negatives we could find were the unreliable spotty internet and the tight parking lot, but the fact that there WAS a parking lot at all was something we did appreciate. The property seemed well tended and maintained. We appreciated having the "smart" TVs in the unit, which we took advantage of during the evenings after our daytme sightseeing and visiting family. The one bathroom is very small, and is a "Jack and Jill" style bathroom that is located between the two bedrooms. This was not an issue for us since we were the only ones staying in the apartment, but for other combinations of guests (two couples, for example) it might be more of a consideration. Overall, this was a fabulous place to stay and if we visit Charlotte again, it will be at the top of our list of places to book.
