(Please no parties or events the house is only for 6 people max due to it being on septic ) This recently remodeled home offers a tranquil escape at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, surrounded by mature trees. Enjoy peaceful mornings on the back patio, overlooking a spacious backyard and the nearby woods, teeming with birds and wildlife. In the evenings, relax by the fire pit where you may get a glimpse of wild turkeys or deer meander along the tree line. With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, this home is ideal for a family getaway, long-term stays, or a temporary retreat on your way to the Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s also a great choice for anyone relocating to the Charlotte area while they search for their permanent home. Conveniently located just minutes from grocery stores and local amenities, this property is also close to horse farms and within 30 minutes of Charlotte, Carowinds, Lake Wylie, Crowders Mountain, and the Catawba 2 Kings Casino. On the way home

We were on our way home from visiting The Billy Graham library. The house was very comfy for the 6 of us women. Located in a quiet neighborhood, The House was cleanwefelt safe.

Country in the City

Loved the character of the house and its hominess. It had everything needed to prepare meals and bake some pastries. The guys enjoyed the woods and fire pit . Thank you for sharing your home, we had a great time with our family.

Country feel convenient location

My wife and I were visiting family and attended a wedding over the weekend. Our family lives never York SC and the wedding was at Separk Mansion in Gastonia NC. The house was conveniently located between the two locations. The house was impeccably clean and Mark our host was so helpful and accommodating. We'll definitely stay again.

Fantastic getaway

Simply immaculate! The property was so peaceful, loved drinking coffee on the screened in porch! So beautifully decorated! The host had everything, from snacks to breakfast stuff even a bottle of chilled wine in the refrigerator! Spices to cook with, and coffee and tea of different kinds! He even had coffee beans and a grinder if someone like me wanted to do that!! We plan on returning!!

Wedding trip

It was as described but based on the photos we were looking forward to sitting by the fireplace. It was a cold and rainy weekend and I brought hot chocolate. Due to the weather there wasn’t a lot of outside time and we were there less than 48 hours. Overall a nice place with lots of room. Well stocked.

Gastonia House

Older home in a peaceful neighborhood not too far from town. Only issue we had was all bedrooms are located on the second floor so older adults had to climb the stairs which were a little steep. Otherwise no complaints. Host responded timely to all communications.

Wonderful Place, Quiet Location

We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful home with all the personalities touches. Mark went above and beyond the usual. We werw welcomed with a bottle of champagne, bottled water, a bowl of snacks ( the good kind too), alomst every small kitchen appliance you could need along with toiletries for each bathroom. Quiet location in a cul-de-sac, woodsy backyard. No complaints but only suggestion would be to have a blind or curtain for the back bedroom window. We would definitely stay again and appreciated all of the little touches feom Mark.

Frozen

The house was clean and tidy. However, when we arrived, someone was parked in the drive. We had to knock on a door to find the owner of the vehicle in order to park. Once inside, the temperature was 52 degrees. We turned on the heat and by the next morning, it was only 62 degrees. We had to sleep in our clothes because it was so cold on the inside of the house. Other than these issues, we liked the house.

Quiet getaway

This house/location was just what we needed for our vacation. Very quiet area about 20 mins from mountains/grocery stores. We enjoyed Tony's Ice Cream and Enzo's Pizza in Gastonia but made all other meals at the home. We visited the botanical gardens and were less than an hour from Great Wolf Lodge. Our group of 3 adults and 1 child all had their own space. As mentioned in other reviews, staircase is steep and all bedrooms are on the 2nd story (may not be best choice for the elderly).There is a handrail and we all took it slow. Great laundry room and comfy furniture. Beautiful backyard that my niece loved running around in. We loved the outdoor recliners and have purchased some for our own home. Thanks, Mark, for sharing your home with us. We made some great memories on this trip!
