ACC tournament stay
Great beds. Looked recently renovated. First floor apartment so all windows exposed to parking lot or sidewalks. Lots of traffic noise from Graham St but mitigated by loud HVAC system. Clean. Several minor issues with maintenance. Expected more for the price.
We came to Charlotte for the Chiefs/Panthers game. We were delighted that the home was within easy walking distance. In fact, everything we needed was within walking distance--groceries, restaurants, and sights of interest such as NASCAR Hall of Fame.
Location to the stadium and uptown very walkable. Great restaurant around the corner. Coffee and groceries were nearby. Neighbors can be a little loud at times.
Since you pay cleaning fee you expect certain type of cleanliness when you check in. We found not properly cleaned sink. The AC unit filter may not have changed or the grill was just dirty.I understand they keep AC in these units on schdule but they should keep regular tempratures in mind for that stay. Our thermostate was schduled to go to 60 and we had to keep changing when we came back from outside. The thermostate was so old we couldnt figure out to stop the schdule..

It was ok
The rooms smelt really weird like they had animals and mildew, otherwise it was okay
Clean and
Neat. We stayed during a cold front and the place is drafty and not well insulated. Could have used more blankets. Otherwise well kept. Outside is not as nice as pictured but once your inside it is comfortable. Market and food places within walking distance. Parking spot was great to have as public parking is limited in Charlotte.
Great location, excellent hosts and professionally managed
We chose this property in order to be centrally located as we were looking at homes throughout the Charlotte area.
This property is ideally located, close to airport and easy access to highways to explore the greater Charlotte area, as well as walking distance to all uptown has to offer.
Two caveats: Be aware that its central location comes with city noise - if you’re not used to that, bring some earplugs for sleeping! Also, even though the hosts went above and beyond to give directions with photos for the parking area and locating the apartment, it is very tricky if you arrive at night.
While there were some unavoidable hiccups with a previously scheduled washer replacement, the hosts went out of there way to ensure we didn’t feel inconvenienced or unhappy with our stay.
Older building with some maintenance issues but you absolutely can’t eat the Fourth Ward for charm, convenience, and community amenities. From a dog park and AMAZING pub one block over to the lovely Gourth Ward Park across the street, this location has it all!
Only downsides were that the patio door was broken and we were never able to access that space (which looks quite inviting) and the traffic noise of being right on a major busy street (Graham). Ear plugs fixed the noise issue, but we never did get to use the patio in the month we stayed.
Host contact person, Yodi, was so incredibly awesome and responsive, just a joy to work with!
The property itself was ok. The interior was mostly clean, but we were disappointed with several things. Patio was almost unusable. Filthy & nasty furniture. Laundry area was disgusting. Full of lint, dirt, etc. Washing machine had slime & mildew in the detergent tray. Beds were cheap and uncomfortable, like dorm room beds. Kitchen was listed to include a toaster, which they did not have. Only one TV remote worked. The exterior of the fridge had some sort of scale or rust on it. The patio door was almost impossible to use. I could not open it at all and my husband had to use all his strength to use it. The screen door was broken, like off the track and janky. The hvac system was incredibly loud and did not work. We had it set at 68 and the temperature never dropped below 77. It was brutally hot at night. We could not find the parking lot. Its on a totally different street than the apartment address. When I asked for clarification, the response was less than friendly or accommodating. We drove around for 20 minutes looking for the lot. Every time we went out to our vehicle, we were approached by individuals asking for food or money. We left a day early.

Short Stay
My son and I were in town for the Panthers game and decided we would prefer having the space of an apartment vs a hotel so we landed on this condo. There were a few opportunities…Pros - host was super responsive and quickly addressed all of my questions. The location worked great but as others said it is located on a main thoroughfare so there is quite a bit of traffic. I’m a heavy sleeper so it didn’t bother me, but it did wake my son up throughout the night and morning. I thought the beds were really comfortable with great sheets and blankets.Cons - there were some issues with the HVAC unit. It was a programmable thermostat which had been programmed to turn the heat way down in the middle of the night so we woke up with it being 60 inside. In addition, when my son woke up with a sore throat, I decided to take a look at the filter and it was evident that it hadn’t been changed in almost a year.. I asked about getting a replacement and was told that maintenance was off but I could pick up one myself. Unfortunately, there is not a Home Depot located anywhere near the apartment so we were stuck. Also, if you plan on eating at this apartment, make sure you bring your own dishes as there were only two small plates. The apartment does have a small front patio, but be prepared to struggle opening the sliding glass door. It really needs to be replaced and I’m not sure why the owners don’t spend the 1,000 to get it done? It worked but I would not stay there again.
The location of this unit is the best thing about it. It is within walking distance to just about everything. The sports stadiums are blocks away. Having our own parking space was great too! The unit itself is not the best looking from the outside and is really in need of some repairs - the first being the entry door. The only way to keep the door closed is to lock with the deadbolt. That really needs to be addressed as it just didn't seem safe. We made an inquiry as soon as we got there but it was never fixed. Coupled with that, the curtains in the living area are very sheer. We could see outside so I imagine people could see inside as well. The unit did have an odd smell as another reviewer mentioned, but to us it smelled like perhaps a smoker had been there. There was a candle to burn to make it smell better. As another reviewer had mentioned, the unit could have been a little cleaner. Apart from these issues, the inside of the unit itself was cozy, stocked well and met our needs for our stay. Please be advised that this is a city unit and there is noise all night long. Bedrooms are right at street level. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be the unit for you.
The condo was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the AC unit is so outdated, it roared loudly. The water pressure was good in the front bathroom, however the master suite bath had bad water pressure. There was water seeping up through the foundation in the living room and guest bedroom. I advised the management company of these issues. Overall, not a bad location, but homelessness is a concern.
My family really enjoyed the central location of this property. We went to a concert at the Spectrum center, and it was an easy walk. The rental was well stocked and comfortable. There were minor issues with cleanliness but nothing that wasn’t easily remedied. The host was fantastic with responsiveness and very kind. I would stay here again.
