"The room was superficially clean. There were stains on the chairs and the furniture was run dowm. The bed had seen better days. The shower had no place for soap or shampoo except the floor. The shower door would not stay closed. The shower water was barely lukewarm and never got to a comfortable shower temperature. The TV connections were unstable and not usable . The internet was at times reliable. Breakfast was the same each morning. Some variations would be appreciated with some fresh fruit selections."

"The lobby was bright and inviting. The room was clean and spacious, very comfortable seating choices. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. The stay was better than some places but not excellent. Maintaining things properly is a detail that makes the difference. The box spring on the bed broke, the pancake machine was broken and not expected to be fixed for weeks, one of the pieces of workout equipment did not work and another did not work properly. We had hoped for better."

"We booked this room for Memorial Day weekend to have a small vacation with our grandchildren in Michigan. We were looking forward to using the restaurant and bar and the kids were excited to spend the day in the indoor pool. For some reason the hotel decided to close the restaurant, bar, and pool on Memorial Day. WHAT????? The holidays are when people visiting family rent hotel rooms. We were not notified of this when we booked. Also they had the water turned off for four hours one day. This hotel is HORRIBLY managed to do this to it's guests. I expect a refund because the amenities we paid for were inaccessible. Never again will we stay at Hyatt!!!"

"We would not hesitate to stay again. We usually stay at larger hotel chains but we were pleasantly surprised with Home Towne Studios in Okemos! Very friendly & helpful Staff, LARGE rooms, very clean & comfortable. It was quiet (on a busy weekend), the area felt safe & the hotel hallways and rooms were fresh, clean and comfortable!"

"Everything was great! The place was clean, staff was nice, and breakfast was great! Only other comments about the room are some nicks in the bath tub porcelain, the bathroom door hinges were loose, and some stains in the carpet on the hallway carpet just outside my door. These aren't complaints-- I just hope I don't get billed for any damage. But yeah, everything was great! "

"We stayed there for four nights. The beds were decently clean, yet the room has a stale smell, the bathroom fan was giving a weed smell for the first night. The staff was friendly and helpful. My recommendation for the management to add more towel drying racks in the bathroom and by the sink; replace stained and dirty mesh office chairs with a smooth surfaced chairs that will be easily to maintain in clean condition; and run the air conditioner on "dry" setting prior the guest's arrival. That all together may help to upgrade the general experience from "Good" to "Very good" or "Excellent". Thank you!"
