Nowadays it’s hard to find a clean well ran hotel that’s also affordable. Including is also a free breakfast which is great and fresh a very nice stay for those on a budget looking for a good place.

Wow. Just wow.

Beautiful brand new hotel. Staff was friendly. Room was spotless Bed was great. Had never stayed with this chain before and they gained a for life customer here. Highly recommend. I am driving two hours out of the way to stay again on my next trip at another location.

We stayed there for 3 nights. There wasn't much to eat for breakfast, the room wasn't really fully cleaned/serviced everyday. But the front desk staff were very nice and responsive.

Quick weekend trip

Everything was great, people were nice, rooms were clean. Looks like renovations have been recently done around the property. Could use a few touch ups around trim in bathrooms and some spots here and there! I didn't like the beds but not everyone is the same, my wife and son were comfortable with them!

The breakfast was a bit sparce. The coffee machine was broken, and the apple juice was watered down. So, if breakfast is a deal breaker choose another hotel. The room was clean, and we had plenty of towels, the staff was nice. We just needed a clean room for 2 nights, so it served our purposes just fine.

We made the mistake of going for price. The staff, front counter and housekeeping were very nice and understanding of our reason to not stay. We didnt feel safe there. We left and booked another hotel.

Having spent almost nine years working for Choice Hotels, I am compelled to express my concerns regarding the safety and overall experience of this particular property. As someone who consciously avoids stereotyping, I nonetheless felt uneasy during my visit. I attended the Charleston Black Food Festival and was disturbed by the presence of vagrants and individuals who appeared to be gang members behind the restaurant. The bathroom was dirty, and the room had an unusual odor. Additionally, a loud gathering outside persisted for three hours, causing a disturbance. In my opinion, this hotel necessitates significant renovations to address these issues. Its location is convenient, being situated in the heart of the city. Some individuals might characterize the surrounding neighborhood as economically disadvantaged.
