Oceanfront condo in Wild Dunes! This two bedroom, two bath condo overlooks the complex pool and offers beautiful ocean views! The fully equipped kitchen has been renovated and includes new appliances, cabinetry, and granite counter tops. Tile flooring throughout kitchen and living room, dining area with seating for six, and a flat-screen television with a DVD player. Access to balcony from living room and master. Guest room offers one queen bed and one twin and shares a full bath with the hall. The master offers a king bed, a flat screen television, and private full bath with a walk-in shower. Both bathrooms have hair dryers. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Elevator access and access to community pool. WiFi. Linens. No Smoking. No Pets.

**ATTENTION GUESTS: During high tide there is minimal beach available for beach walking or lounging. Some neighboring complexes may have sand bags out to protect their dunes from erosion. Please do not attempt to walk on the dunes or sand bags.**

Stunning views.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely condo with sunrises that were awesome from large balcony. Lots of little details made this so special. Night lights in each bath, very clean, fully loaded kitchen, lots of family games, beach chairs and beach toys for all and luggage carts to haul your stuff upstairs. Really don't need to bring anything extra. We walked the beach at least twice a day (easy access). Great wash area to get sand off your sneakers. I would definitely rent this one again.

Fun Fall Getaway

Two couples, one from Ohio, the other from Texas. We were happy to find a place with two bedrooms-each with an adjoining bath. We loved the location - perfect for morning beach walks, great access to excellent restaurants on Sullivan's Island and around Shem Creek, and close to the sights in downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant. Would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are a retired couple and spent the month of February in this condo. It was clean, well decorated, and well stocked. We made most of our meals in the condo and the kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in. The view of the pool and ocean is fantastic but the sun only hits the balcony for about 3 hrs in the morning. That would be great in summer but not as nice in winter months. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of closet and storage space and had beach toys and beach chairs available to use. Our sons and families visited while we were there and appreciated all the beach toys, games, and books available for use.This condo is on the 4th floor so it was nice having an elevator to move in and out and bring in groceries. Island Reality is very nice to work with. The only recommendations I would suggest are removing the glass doors on spare bathroom shower as they kept going off the track and it's hard to get by the toilet to bathe toddlers. Shower curtain would work better. Also would suggest a chain lock on the outside door. There was no way to lock the door from inside to keep young children from opening door and wandering out. IOP beach is a great beach for walking and this condo has a lovely pool for use in warmer weather. Definitely recommend!

A Fabulous Vacation Experience

The mattress on the bed in the master bedroom is excellent. (We didn’t use the second bedroom.)The kitchen is very well setup for cooking. We had everything we needed and easily cooked dinner every night.The view of the ocean is fabulous. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the balcony. Access to the beach is easy with the boardwalk to the dunes.The construction noise was not bothersome and did not interfere with our very relaxing vacation.I would absolutely recommend 405 Summerhouse to friends and relatives. It is a very clean and well maintained property. The photos are accurate.We toured Charleston several time, visiting the highlights of the city, including the Dock Street Theater in the French Quarter, and Robert Lange Studio. We also visited Magnolia Cemetery to see the USS Hunley Memorial and the giant Roseate Spoonbills, the Giant Wood Storks and Night Herons. We visited Mepkin Abbey and walked the mile-long labyrinth, and Ft. Moultrie.

From board games to beach games, even some extra chairs. I even wanted to create a romantic atmosphere one night and while wishing I had brought a candle, I opened a door to a night stand and BAM, two electric flickering candles and they even worked. Lol. I will want to come back to 405.

The weather was good and we enjoyed walks on the beach and laying by the pool. We even extended our reservation another day.We have been staying in Summer House 405 for probably over 20 years and prior to that we stayed in Summer House 408. We love it. The condo was updated a couple of years ago. Jenny in the reservation department is excellent to work with.

A great trip!!!!

We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching action at the pool and enjoying the ocean views! The beach area along this portion of the island is not very wide, so at high tide, there is not a lot of space, but we still did not have any issues finding a spot on the sand. We also found lots of great seashells!

Wild Dunes - Summer House

Everything was great....except, earsplitting construction noise in adjacent property was so bad, we were forced to move to another property. But everyone we worked with was super nice. Other than the noise, I would have given an overall rating of 5 stars.

Great Condo

Summer House condo was perfect for our quick getaway. This condo had everything you need for a trip to the beach. Beach Toys, chairs, games, etc. The beds were very comfortable. The complex was well maintained and manicured. My oldest is already asking when we are going back.

Perfect deep beachfront level sand for walking. View exactly as advertised for this condo. Kitchen very well furnished - we ate in every night! Downside is both the sofa and loveseat were very broken down and extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately this review doesn’t allow pictures - furniture is so broken down it’s obvious even by looking. The master bed mattress also very uncomfortable and needs replaced. Master bathroom ceiling had visible mold. No comfortable seating on the balcony. I will definitely go back to isle of palms, but won’t go back to this particular condo.
