Guests enter Green Whale by walking up the sidewalk, past the gorgeous magnolia tree in the front yard and into the front door. Once you enter the front door, you will find an open floor play layout between the living room & dining room areas. The dining room leads into the kitchen. From the living room, you can access the master bedroom, the stairwell to the home's second floor and a half bathroom with full sized washing machine & dryer. There's a door in the living room that takes you to the home's private, backyard patio area with an outdoor dining table & chairs. On the second floor of the home, you'll find the remaining two bedrooms and one full bathroom.

Perfect location for graduation weekend
We had a great stay at the Green Whale! Appreciated the well stocked kitchen to cook at the house. Everything was as described in the listing. The location was perfect! We would definitely stay again on another visit.
The Green Whale is a very nice home. It's decorated in a beach motif, ands is conveniently located near all attractions and stores in and around Charleston, SC. We definitely would stay there again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Mt. Pleasant area. Property was as advertised, comfortable and close enough to enjoy everything Charleston had to offer. Great restaurants in Mt. Pleasant for dinner so did not have to head into city every night for dinner.

Great Mt. Pleasant Vacation!
Our family spent a week at the Green Whale and it was a wonderful experience! The location is great with easy access to the beach as well as downtown Charleston. The house was clean and well maintained and was perfect for our 3 kids. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again!

Great stay
This was our second stay at the Green Whale the second year in a row. It’s a great set up for our family of four - nice clean house in a nice neighborhood only 10 minute drive from Sullivans Island, 4 minute drive from Walmart for groceries and 15 minute drive from Charleston. We love it and will be back!!

The house was located in a quiet neighborhood. The unit was clean and as described. We arrive late in the evening and the lights were on for us. Thank you for that!We were close to everything. A short drive to Charleston but there was plenty to offer in Mr. Pleasant.
We loved this house, plenty of space for the whole family, pretty house and patio, and easy to get around to what we needed from there. Nice friendly neighborhood with a playground for the kids. Would love to stay here again.
Only thing I could imagine being different is that the main area could use a little more lighting in the evening, though it's nice and bright during the day with the skylights. We had a great stay!
My family and 2 of our kids friends stayed in this nice home for 3 nights. Very cozy and clean in a quiet area. 10 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from downtown Charleston. Plenty of restaurant and entertainment options close by. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if the opportunity arises.

We loved our time at the Green Whale! It is a cute cottage set in a lovely neighborhood about equidistant from Charleston in one direction and Sullivan's Island in the other direction. Roomy, comfortable and attractively decorated, we felt right and ==
This was a nice location, quiet neighborhood and had what we needed. The only complaint I have is the skylight directly above the master bed without any kind of blind or cover. In the summer it gets bright early and on vacation we want to sleep in or take a nap in the afternoon.
Overall it was a great place to stay, close to historic Charleston, activities in Mount Pleasant and Sullivan’s island.Our only complaint was that the bathroom sinks didn’t get hot water even though the showers and kitchen sink did. Not a huge issue but annoying .We would definitely stay here again info we come to Charleston..
Wonderful house and location!!
Accommodations were perfect for our family and made our stay exceptional. This house was centrally located for all our needs. We got to experience different beaches, restaurants, and shopping. We stayed for a vacation and Baseball tournament. Again, this house was located closely to the ballfield and beach area, with so many available stops in between!

Perfect Stay Near Beaches & Charleston!
We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this beautiful home with 3 adults and two kids. The house was spotless, stylishly decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful—perfect for relaxing after a day out.
The location was ideal, with equal distance to several gorgeous beaches and downtown Charleston, making it easy to explore all the area has to offer. The host was fantastic—great communication throughout and very thoughtful, even leaving us a welcome gift! The check-in process was smooth, with clear instructions and easy access to the home.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!
Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Mount Pleasant is the Green Whale... a somewhat nondescript home from the curb, but remarkably spacious and inviting inside. Located in the perfect area for those who wish not only to enjoy that which Downtown Charleston has to offer but also the pristine beaches of Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms as well.We've stayed at rental homes all over the country and Steven was as responsive and gracious a host as we've found anywhere. We would love to stay at the Green Whale again the next time we visit the Charleston area.
The Green Whale was exactly as billed and was in a nice, quiet neighborhood yet very close to historic downtown Charleston. The main floor master bedroom was cozy and comfortable and the upper two bedrooms and bath were great. The special welcome treat and note were much appreciated. We were there for our grandson’s graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School on the retired USS Yorktown at Patriot’s Point which was just down the road. We highly recommend this property for comfort, convenience and cordiality!

Everything was well organized & very clean. It was easy to find the items needed such as towels, soap, shampoo/comditioner. The bottle of wine was a nice touch. We loved the cookies! The skylights gave way for natural light through the day. Only issue was the blown bulb in the light in the master bedroom- the lamps proved sufficient though. Conveniently located!

We really appreciated the location of this little home in Mt Pleasant. It was a very easy check in/out process, conveniently located to Charleston and situated in a small, quiet neighborhood. The 3 bedroom home was comfortable and very clean. There is a driveway to park 2 cars (3 would have been a stretch). The home is a bit dated, but again very clean. The home accomodates up to 6, however the seating in the living room was limited to a single sofa which was strange especially as the only TV in the home is the living room. The bottle of wine and lemon cookies were a very nice touch.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful property in Mount Pleasant, SC, and it proved to be an ideal haven for our family of three. Nestled in the heart of the charming Mount Pleasant area, this property offered the perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and proximity to both Charleston and our family gatherings.
The location was a standout feature for us, as it provided easy access to the vibrant city of Charleston while still offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The drive to Charleston was quick and straightforward, allowing us to explore the historic streets, indulge in delicious cuisine, and soak up the rich cultural heritage of the city with great ease. The property's central location made it a breeze to plan day trips and excursions, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay.
The accommodations themselves were very nice and well appointed.
