"Easy checkin made even more convenient with our early arrival. Clean spacious home with fresh clean decor. A place to rest your head and be amazed by some unique art. Great backyard for the furry family that tagged along. Short drive to UC for graduate ceremonies and a wide variety of places to dine in or carry out. Perfect rental, highly recommend, and would love to stay again. Thank you to John (owner), Brittany (manager), and the cleaning crew for making our stay a success! It’s so...

2BR/1BA Amish Built Cabin Located on Pond at Rippling Waters Campground
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (47)
"Very quite place way back from noise and business of city life. We were very busy with what we were doing but the campground around us looked peaceful. The cabin seemed newly built and had new furnishings. The only thing that was missing was a normal sized shower. The shower was very tiny and for the money it was overpriced. Other than that it was a good deal. "

Fort Wychwood is newly renovated with great views and city access!
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (39)
"The house was very clean and nicely decorated. I was particularly pleased with the beds. They were very comfortable. There was everything we needed although bath mats for the showers would be nice. I was a little surprised that there wasn’t any soap for the showers, something we have found in other VRBO rentals. The host Roger, was very helpful and responded to my questions very quickly. Thanks for that Roger."

Very private and secluded, Cabin in the woods
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (252)
"We rented the cabin for a weekend getaway from the city. It was exactly as described. Check in was super easy and Miss Barbara was right on point with answering my questions. She was so accommodating as we were driving 4 hours to come. So easy to work with. The stay was cozy, there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the cabin was clean and stocked with amenities. The property is extremely pet friendly. Our dogs had a wonderful time. Getting around was a breeze with 4wd...

Fern Creek Cabins @ New River Gorge, Secluded, White Water, Hiking, Hot Tub.

"Cons: Not motorcycle friendly. I would be very cautious with a normal sized car also as the gravel road leading to the property was long and uneven. Torn up livingroom chair on the back porch was odd. Livingroom furniture looked like old second hand furniture. Seemed like they bought one of the cheapest models of hot tub. It did the job though. Not all windows had coverings. The neighbors who had to drive right by could easily see everything inside the unit at night. Pros: very quiet. Can see...

"We really enjoyed our stay here! House was clean and cozy and easily accessible to all the fun activities in town! The beds weren’t great, but the couch was super comfy! The only thing I would maybe add is a full length mirror in the bathroom or one of the bedrooms for us ladies to check our outfits…haha. Otherwise, such a cute little place that was perfect for our anniversary trip!"

The Evergreen! Historic Cabin
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (96)
"Cute, quaint 3-bedroom, small but old cabin. The hottub was very big and relaxing and the backyard view of the trees, firepit, and pretty pond were nice. The hosts placed wildflowers in a vase as a nice touch and there was coffee and standard kitchen utensils, although the kitchen is small. There's 1 full bathroom, a half bath, and a shower in a closet. Also, it's an old house so there's 2-prong outlets everywhere"

Hawks Nest Hideout

"We had a great stay. We were able to easily walk across the street and see the amazing Hawks Nest views, and we ate dinner at the restaurant there overlooking the river. It was a pretty quick drive over to the Canyon Rim visitor center at New River Gorge, and we spent the day hiking and fishing in the park. Outside of the occasional car driving by, nighttime was pleasantly dark and quiet (a welcome change for us city dwellers). There was a nice, large dining table for evening board games (we...

Backwoods retreat 12 miles from New River Gorge Bridge

"Our stay at Backwoods Retreat was amazing! I will attempt to do it justice. The property is gorgeous! During the day there were deer, birds and all the beauty of the surrounding mountains. At night, the sky was filled with so many stars, it was hard to pick out even the most basic constellation. It is so quiet/peaceful! There is a hiking trail, as well as a pond to fish or just sit by and take in the beauty surrounding you. The house is perfect. The sofa/beds are comfortable. The kitchen is...
