The house is just a 10 minute drive from a lovely town and shops for groceries. The hosts even organised for us to go horse-riding at their horse riding school which was a great experience. "A cozy hotel with great breakfast, although with some visible wear-and-tear of the furniture/property. Not sure how deep their direct engagement is with the one-starred Michelin restaurant on the property, but the restaurant did not grant us a proper apology or some kind of discount for the 3 small bullets that was found in the duck meat. Biting onto one could have cracked a tooth or affect a filling; didn’t happen but it’s about principles. First time we encounter such a lack of response from a Michelin-starred restaurant."
